  1. near me at IP5 between ipswich and woodbridge, i live within throwing distance of the major police headquarters; real low risk area Read up a bit Rich, I can SEE the Headquarters of the Kent Constabulary from my balcony, if your postcode is deemed 'dodgy' makes f*** all difference mate... Anyway there have to be SOME advantages to living in Ipswich ah you see my postcode is a cooshdy one i live on the right side of town apparently its about a 10k premium over other areas around me, top schools, nice area, low crime, and PD HQ round the corner, always lots of patrols out.

  3. trick is to start at the bottom and work upwards. do the gearstick surround first; then work up
  4. 1) An S2000 but not really that much of an improvement on frugality as you need to thrash it to get anywhere Had one and it was better on fuel than the 350Z 2) A VW GTi but costs a fortune to find one with reasonable mileage 3) A Scoob Impreza - not really that much of an improvement frugality wise. if driven out side the turbo then not bad on fuel, but if you drive it properly its worse by a long shot 4) VX220 / Elise - will be in the garage every other week, Georgie the lab wont like the seats. my mate had the VX220turbo, as far as i remember it never really had any issues, and only went in to the garage to make it go faster 5) Cooper S JCW - Has the frugality but I have worries about the gearbox The cooper S is pretty solid car, not heard many issues with the gear box, but then never looked into them too much.
  5. i will sort it for you when you come over next week
  6. wrapping deep into the pockets is not really do'able, i trimmed them neatly about 5-10mm into the pocket. but the hexxis stuff is good for wrapping
  7. yes but the 300zx was built to run on 95ron; just like my jag is. so putting 98ron in really only gains a small amount. its more for giving the engine a clean. but the 350z is built to run on 98ron, so running it on 95 ron can kill as much as 50bhp off your power. its not what the 350 gains on 98ron, its the fact that it looses with out it. i think the difference in a tank of 95 over 98 is you save about £10, but you get more miles out of 98 ron, basically what is thought as a saving on 95 just robs you of power. fill it with 98 more than makes up for the cost with the extra miles, and the fact you keep all your power. if you want to run it successfully on 95, then get it mapped for it.
  8. lots of nismo parts and cars with nismo parts fitted as optional extras etc, but i think that nismo only built a few actual full nismo cars. and i think like what has been said above we're talking single digits with regards to them being in the UK.
  9. RT Performance are very good Interior and exterior Wrappers, from what i have seen of their work i would let them work on my car. i don't know if they supply vinyl; they might; drop them a bell. I supply hexis vinyl can all theri latest stuff including their window tints as well. i've wrapped with both hexis and 3M and i much prefer the finish of hexis, and their carbon is far superior in finish and look. they do a whole range of stuff drop me a line and i'll take some pics of samples to give you an idea. if that helps.
  10. lint free cloth, hold ontop of open bottle, tip. take cloth with WS on and apply to window. avoid rubbing the painted area. also might be worth cleaning the inside with a nice clean cloth, some times you may find that the inside has a haze to it, especially if it hasn't been cleaned for a while.
  11. not always, i don't know the full ins and outs, but people like horsham and abbey can explain it better.
  12. white spirit then meths, white spirit is greasy but shift things alot better, then meths which evoprates better and leaves a clean surface. i normally use PIAA glass cleaner, and then screen protect.
  13. the car is tuned to run on the high octane, if you want to run it on cheap stuff you'll need to look at getting the car remapped to run on it. don't want to kill your engine over a prelonged period of time.
  14. stick with your current plan if its personalised to much it will put people off. same with buying a house, if you did black wheels and hood, it will scream modded. with the anthracite wheels will just give it a nice edge and easy to sell.
  15. i'm chatting to my supplier at the moment to try and source twin panel filter setup for the 370Z and for the HR engines on the 350Z. just waiting for a reply and then i'll let you all know

looking good ian, always loved the colour of the engine on the R34
  17. the VUS tends to have a more rounded shoulder in comparison to the more square shoulder of things like the PS2
  18. even if he gets fined, doesnt gaurentee he pays out. or even if he does it could be at £10 a week or something silly. i hope you get the cash back out of it. and that the repair is to your liking
  19. mine aren't limo black, i used a dark smoke something like 15% or 20% visibility has been fine, can still see out. just takes the edge of the glare off at night time. have driven acar with limo tint rear in a zed and hated it. even in day light it was too dark.
  20. i probably going to do the fronts myself, i used the pro's because the rear window on the jag is difficult to reach and its got some curves to it which require the film to be heated and shaped to prior to fitting. flat windows are pretty easy, curved ones are not
  21. speak to tarmac, he has most things; its like santa's grotto
