depends on how heavy it is in comparison to the zed.

  5. thats what i'm currently using. also check what joint its using, if its a straight thread (requires lots of plumbers tap to seal the joint), or tapered thread (generally seals itself, but a bit of plumbers tape for luck), or if it uses an olive joint.
  6. majority of exhaust discolour over time, they go abit goldy, then dull gold then browny metallic, bit of TLC and autosol usually cleans them up

  8. we all knew that already; i think its the way you type, but good of you to admit it any way. we can all be a bit of a nob sometimes as well, so your not on your own
  9. if your in colchester i would reccomend a vist to martlesham near me, the bodyshop i use is there and they are brilliant. they did my bodykit on the zed, and they also have a mechanical section who do all the servicing and mod work on my cars etc. give them a ring and book a time to pop in for them to check it. ipswich accident and repair centre have been faultless. and only 30 mins from you. http://www.ipswichaccidentrepaircentre.co.uk/ always welcome to pop in for a coffee as i'm round the corner from them
  10. yes that looks like it will do the job, just as long as the connection is the same. as for power showers, they do a job when replumbing is not an option. i personally love my full pressurised system. means i can use mixer taps etc and no issues with suprise hot cold moments etc. and alwyas have brilliant water force when in the shower.
  11. essex is a large area, some specifics might help. if you're near braintree then braintree accident and repair are meant to be good, used to live that way and they were the people that a lot of the autofactors reccomended. not the cheapest, but did a spot on job. as for cost; without seeing the damage its hard to guess. what colour is the car? some colours are easier to blend than others. my guess is it will be a respray of what ever panel its on. guide price is a rear or front bumper is around £250-£400 depending on company.
  12. if the current water system is something like a pressurized system its fine, but if its run off a gravity feed it might not like it. or if its a power shower it might be fine. i'm currently doing a bathroom at the moment, it had a bath and no shower, so i've plumbed in the pipes and just waiting to tile before i can fit the unit. but its a pressured system which makes it easy. as i can bolt what ever the hell i like on to it. as all i have to worry about is the 2 pipes coming out of the wall. i'm setting it up as a twin shower, so a large rain type shower head and a 2nd shower head to be used in the bath etc. i'm not sure you can get just a bolt on rain head; usually you have to buy the whole caboodle. with tap section etc.
  13. what type of system do you currently run? is it a power shower or run off the water pressure?
  14. is there a limit on the size of stone i'm allowed to use? also as i'm quite a big guy am i still allowed to use my strongest arm or do i need to have a handicap and use my weaker arm?
  15. its intrigueing as it goes against everything abbey motorsports say about the best zed setup?
  16. didn't throw them out, just refused to share them with the other kids
  17. How do I get one of those ? I'll tell you in 2 posts time when I hit 15k you caught up then
  18. Trolley jack & axle stands is what ive always used. Ive some ramps (not suitable for the zed), but ive never used them on any of my cars. Its more hassle than its worth trying to drive on them. Id rather just jack the car up, stick stands under it and know its nice & safe. thats what i use as well, the little ramps are just to get the height of the car up enough to get the trollewy jack under. once under i jack up, remove ramps and replace with axle stands. the ramps are only 3 inches high and aren't certified for working under a car with.
  19. yep the rivals section is good beat any of the times i beat of yours on the weekend?? i know i've done a few peoples times who beat mine. as for the leader board apparently i'm at the top of all of them
