wicked wheels have places all over the place, probably looking at about £50 a wheel and they come to you. got a selection here http://www.yell.com/ucs/UcsSearchAction ... omplete=lo

sounds like it wasn't fitted properly and you had an air leak, (did you fit the air feed pipe as well? where did you feed it from? also its recommended to do an ECU reset after fitting a new item like that, as the engine then learns from scratch the new settings.

check your manual, there will be a section on fuses, the location of the fuse boxes and what you should find in each fuse box.

Like i said in my last post, i'd order a replacement rear quarter from some one like zmanalex or R35LEE or see if you can find one from a breakers yard, or even on ebay, it will be far easier for your body shop to just cut off and then re weld a new panel on than it would be to try and fix that. especially if you can get one for a reasonable price. and if you're only paying for materials then your looking at about £250-£300 including the panel. and if they are going to the effort of mixing paint up then its the perfect time to get other things painted.

it has a terrible resonance reverb on lift off as you can hear the sound waves hitting each other. might help if you tune your pipes. they either need extending slightly or you need a resonance chamber adding to help smooth out the noise.

sounds like the right thing to do.

personally i'd stick the eagle F1 asymetrics on they pretty good. or if you're not worried about cost, as they are a little more, i'd put either the continental sport contact 3s on or the michelin PS3's on.

or as Dave says build your own, because at least that way you know exactly how it was built and what went into it. and you know how it was fitted as you did it.

that will need a new rear quarter panel, probably looking about £150-£250 for a second hand one, its not a bolt on panel so it will need to be cut off and the new one re welded. probably looking about 3 hours work £30 an hour so a rough estimate of about £90-£120 for the welding. and then the panel will need respraying as will the door. looking at about £300-£400 for the rear quarter and about the same for the door. total cost of repair between £850-£1200 if that helps give you a rough idea. prices vary alot depending on who you go to and where in the country you are. and if you get mates rates or not. if you mate is doing it and you only need to pay for materials then you might get away with £300-£400 personally this is what your insurance is for, so if your excess isn't ridiculously high, then I'd be contacting my insurer.

+1 on this, personally i think the nurrish nav is a PoS but many seem to like it, the cookbot setup is far more solidly built and less likely to give you any issues.

i'm just off out but i'll look later, as for the falkens, i ran them on the S2000; and i now run them on the jag, and to be fair they are pretty bloody good....but....i would pu that down to the low profile i have/need for both cars, meant the tyre wall was/is extremly stiff. but the compound, and wet and dry grip have been brilliant. on stock rims i wouldn't pput falkens on the zed as with the 45 profile i think you get to much movement. but if you're running larger 19" rims then they're worth a punt. just from browsing camskills quickly the hankooks are all pretty good http://camskill.co.uk/m61b0s322p63448/H ... 95Y_XL_TL_ http://camskill.co.uk/m61b0s322p15229/H ... 95Y_XL_TL_ as are the dunlop sp sportmaxx http://camskill.co.uk/m61b0s322p73082/D ... _A4_S-Line also worth a look are uniroyal rainsport 2's but they have a soft side wall. will post up more in a bit.

i use this website alot to look at tyres, the general public bits need to be takne with a pinch of salt, but you can look and see what each review drives etc. the best bit is the direct links to all the tyre reviews done in magzines and on line etc. with stats etc. http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/Tyre/Goody ... metric.htm http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/Tyre/Vrede ... ssanta.htm http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/Tyre/Falken/FK452.htm what tyre size do you need? if you put that down i might be able to give you some other cost effective options.

sounds like some good stuff. Where did you get it from? ebay was my friend on this one. i tried something like STP or Redex before but it didn't do much. got reccomended the BG44k and i saw an improvemnt within 2 tanks of fuel. best to use it in a full tank, run it down to half empty and then fill tank back up, then run tank to empty and fill to top again. its alot stronger than anything else on the market. BG do a load of other stuff, not tied anything else but they do octane boosters as well; check out their website, i think you can order from there as well. my engine is 11 years old and had some miles on it. if you notice it on the zed i'm unsure. but the V8 certainly liked it. will probably run another can through again next year.

BG44K is what i use in my Jag, worked to good effect, and helped clean up my injectors which were stuttering at the time.

You can compare stats all day long, just like playing top trumps, but 0-60 times don't mean much; they are written by the manufacturers and produce in a scenerio that no real driver can actually recreate. and if you have to start comparing a car in modded form to try and improve the odds then its not really a fair comparison. especially when we're talking stock for stock. i think some people need to realise that the Zed car in all its guises and models has been and is a great car, and will continue to be well into the future. i could even see it becoming a cult car that people follow way into the future. but its no the pinnacle of motoring, there are many other cars that do the job just as well and alot that do it even better. by all means enjoy the car but don't sit in it with zed tinted glasses and believe this is as good as it gets. i think cars are like sweets, and just like a kid in a sweet shop, you should get out there and try all the different flavours. some you'll like; and you'll keep coming back time and time again to try them and their new flavours, and other sweets will taste rank, and you'll never try them again.

SOO wanna replace amber sidelights for HID white!!

why not take a headlight out and take a look for yourself, if no one has done it before, be a pioneer in the area. you might find that the LED's could be accessed from outside the light without needing to split the light. after all its just a plastic housing, so you might be able to dremmel the plastic off, replace them, and then reseal with a new fixing panel. -
my care worker says i'm fine as long as i keep taking my medicine

I don't know my missus does a canny job on me You've clearly not been for a night out in Newcastle. Next time you are up here give me a shout and I'll change your mind Bradders Btw Geordie not Jordie mate lol always up for a conversion, its the same with scottish accents, nothing against the lasses, it just doesn;t float my boat, which i suppose leaves more choice for those who do Stew i'm sure i'd find you and your accent a turn on, but in general the scottish accent on a whole on a female person does nowt for me, but the stronger the accent and the harder it becomes the more of a turn off it becomes. its not that i'm replused by the scots accent on a lady; but unlike the french or irish accent where if i here that it can turn an average looking girl in to a hotter one just with the lilt of their voice. There are as many Scottish accents as English accents. Any in particular or do all is Scots get tarred with the same brush?
