    Peugeot RCZ

    I was the same when I saw one - the roof is a bit crazy, it's trying to be two different cars I think. These are the varying spec's 1.6 THP Sport 2d 8.0 s 133 mph 156 bhp 1.6 THP Sport 2d Auto 8.7 s 132 mph 156 bhp 1.6 THP GT 2d 8.0 s 133 mph 156 bhp 1.6 THP GT 2d Auto 8.7 s 132 mph 156 bhp 1.6 THP Sport (200bhp) 2d 7.4 s 146 mph 200 bhp 1.6 THP GT (200bhp) 2d 7.4 s 146 mph 200 bhp 2.0 HDi Diesel 2.0 HDi Sport 2d 8.4 s 134 mph 163 bhp 2.0 HDi GT 2d 8.4 s 134 mph 163 bhp The Mrs likes them, but like you say it's another Peugeot!
  9. 1 year ago I paid £16k for a 56 plate 296bhp with 29k miles. GT, black leather, SatNav, bodywork perfect, new wheels (which I subsequently found out had been reconditioned), 4 month original warranty remaining, major service included, half a tank of fuel, a further 1 year futher warranty and 6 months road tax purchased as it had run out. This was from a Stealer in Leicester. Not too bad I guess.....
  10. Slow people driving a ZED - worrying!! Maybe he's had a detune of the car to save on fuel....
  11. I totally ignored that thread as it didn't interest me, but reading it I've been in fits of laughter. I still keep chuckling.... Hey talking of flashing lights, the other day I went round this corner and a green light kept flashing at me, then I went round another corner and another green light was flashing - anyone got any ideas as to what it could be. Wonder if Waseem can help me on that one?
  12. Is that the titanium one? If so I had my eye on one of those I think they sound great.
  13. Check out my recording of XYZ Pipe, Japspeed De-cat - standard back box. http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=38181&start=15 Okay the wind noise doesn't help, but rest assured, the sound is fantastic. Superb between 1-3k revs, hit 3.5k and it starts to pick up, hit 5k onwards and it sounds perfect. The next best thing is the motorway. Cruise anything up to a ton and there is no change, hit anything higher and sound increases, although it's nothing more than the noise made by the tyres which is more annoying. I'd recommend the Plenum, XYZ and De-cats. Mark recently installed these mods on my car with dyno charts on another thread. The other added bonus is you don't have to fork out for an expensive back box. The perks of performance and sound are just perfect. The de-cats are just about settling down now that I've covered a good a thousand miles, I can't complain in the slightest.
  14. Nah he's already got nice wheels, it's gota be something major I think like Ian said.
  15. A blow up doll would be handy, low maintenance, don't argue and don't need any attention. On a serious note I wouldn't have a clue as said it depends on what you are after? Nos is good fun
  16. Without a doubt I'll be there, not missing this event after the stunning run in May. Me (Ian) + 1 Azure 350z Coupe for the full weekend drive, lunch and evening meal. I'll sort out the accomodation as soon as I can. Cheers Ian - thanks for the details, Colin
  17. Yes, that and the fact there also selling plutonium! They sell plutonium at the pound shop down the road from me.... It's good stuff, it kills the weeds in the garden superb!
  18. Reading the Legal's gives it away.... good though.... one to pass round the office.
  19. The new Boxster is ugly, useless and a woeful underperformer. Top speed 166mph?? Roof rips off if you're going too fast, try doing over a ton in a convertible, it's unhealthy!! Therefore it's not going to sell to a "driver" more of a poor mans Porsche poser! Next car - either 370z - or something with a Turbo... Evo ten maybe? That's 2 years away yet, a lot changes in that time. I shall see what's on the market at the time. But that Boxter, it's not great be honest.
  20. Check out my Dyno results on the following thread http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=24431&start=15 I increased my HP from 240 to 258 at the hubs! I had fitted: ARC Induction Kit Plenum Spacer XYZ Pipe De-cate pipes After Uprev the above mods were mapped into the ECU and now my 1k to 4k acceleration is now bliss! The whole package is tuned to it's potential and I gained some nice figures. What makes the uprev great is that it also removes the 155mph limiter giving you the option to spread your wings and fly Not only that, but the change in throttle response is NICE! I've been waiting since last weekend to find some real competition on the roads to have a little battle with Like the others are saying, purchase your bits, get them fitted, get the Uprev done. You'll notice the difference more with mutli mods, rather than just sticking with one item etc. The only problem is the total cost of mods and Uprev. But the joy or driving the car thereafter is great. It feels like a different car!
  21. Hi Steve, yeah good to meet. I'll have to come down to one of your track days to cheer you along - now that I've seen your wicked car in the flesh!!
  22. Ah I see - I thought you showed me a scale when I first collected the car. Maybe I was so everjoyed that I didn't listen. I'll probably have a good read through the manual to understand the readings on the controller Interesting to know it's giving full beans no matter which gear!!
