It was a great day thanks for organising Payco 👍. Good speaking to a few of you, I had to get going about half one because my mate needed to get home for 5 and we wanted to go to Caffeine and Machine for the Diakoku jap weekend on the way and it's a good three hours or so back to Nottingham, so I'm sorry to those I didn't talk to.

If anyone else is coming down the M5, I'll be at roadchef strensham m5 southbound at about 6 which is an hour or so away from Combe if anyone wanted to convoy on the way down.

I got my hanger in the post not long ago and it says please arrive between 7 and half past. Then, at the very bottom of the hanger, it says please arrive by half 9. Think the show itself opens at 9 to the public.

Got my Nismo V2 Spoiler put on a couple of days ago along with painting the splitter-

It's exactly what I've got on my car, I had to get towed by the AA to my local garage who sorted it all. Note that the kit includes a lightweight flywheel as opposed to the normal stock duel mass one so, in short, the car will rev and pick up quicker, but you'll probably have to give it a few more revs to get going initially. A very common mod on these cars but obviously only get that kit if you want it, maybe do some research into them. You could just get the kit without the flywheel, which is quite a bit cheaper. I'll link that too just so you have the option. If you wanted, I'm sure any decent garage could sort the parts for you in case you don't want to order them yourself online. I was in the exact same boat as you last September when my slave cylinder went, sadly the stock ones are prone to it. Think mine was on about 60k when it went. I bought a full reinforced slave cylinder, clutch and lightweight flywheel kit from Tarmac Sportz and getting it all fitted was about £300, but the parts themselves are the expensive bit, about £1100 total it cost me. Going to book my ticket for this soon, I just have a quick question for those who've been on track at this event before - are the usual noise limits in place of 100db at 4.5k revs? Or is it a bit more relaxed / no limit because it's a show? Cheers.

About a grand. Maybe you should consider a higher mileage HR or go for an older DE? Still great cars. I wouldn't be that concerned with mileage, the engines are solid. Some of the low mileage cars are up for a lot of money, there's a HR with 19k miles up for £20,000 on Autotrader, more of a collector's car really with that few miles. Gallery gaskets not being done should be a consideration since is not a cheap fix. Beyond that just maybe point out some wear and tear to see if they won't bring it down a bit, make sure the service history follows Nissans schedule etc, can't think of much else but good luck with the purchase 👍

A HR at sub 40k miles is probably worth about 12-15k if I had to guess.

I came up to Halifax near you to get my gaskets sorted last August. Horsham and also Abbey will sort it for you, but I didn't want to drive that far so Tarmac Sportz recommended me a garage called AB Autoworks. You're right about the price, will cost about a grand. I got a service done at the same time because pretty sure they have to drain the oil for the job anyway but might be wrong on that.
