My last couple sets have been Pilot Sport 5's and they're great dry and wet. Also last ages. Can get them at a decent price on blackcircles or costco if you've a membership. The 4S is also great but doesn't have the same lifespan, probably better by a few % better if you want max grip but I struggle to find them for OEM 18" size wheels.

Yeah I've never heard of them, maybe they're solid, but I always stick for the known brands with brake stuff.

I've had EBC Turbo Groove discs for a while and think they're pretty good, but the difference is probably negligible from OEM. They do look cool though 😁. Definitely make sure you have some fresh brake fluid in, don't wanna be boiling the stuff on track.

Clutch slave cylinders tend to go, best to get a 'reinforced' one when you do the clutch. Gallery gaskets (low oil PSI at idle) can go too, but apart from that, pretty solid. Get some pics up 😀

I've heard before of people talking about the cars being a bit kangaroo-like, especially at low revs in traffic etc, I think an uprev map is known to fix it somewhat. I definitely remember it from when I first got my car, but whether I've gotten used to it and don't notice it, or my uprev tune fixed it I don't really know. I believe that's one of the fuel dampers. Common issue for those to tick. Generally not an issue as far as I know, but it can cause an annoying sound. You could nab one and replace it easily enough.

I think all you need is a Certificate of Conformity, but it might be a pain to get from Nissan. There's a few old threads about this, this one might help a bit. There's a few more if you search ulez.

What he said^ but it's a pain to take it out and have to refill and bleed coolant afterwards. No real easy way unfortunately.

I've had similar issues recently, are you certain of what make/ model of thermostat you run? I replaced a stuck-open OEM thermostat recently with a Mishimoto 68* thermostat. I found my temps were reaching only about 70* when normal driving, a bit less on faster roads and a bit hotter on slower ones with less airflow. When coasting down a hill temps would get as low as 62* so I don't think Mishimoto's claims of it opening at 68* are exactly accurate. I assumed something was wrong with it and to their credit they sent me another after I described my issues. Exact same temps, no change at all. I replaced it again with an OEM-style Motorad thermostat and temps are now bang on with temps sitting in the 80's while cruising. I'd say your issue may lie with the thermostat.
