  1. A few of the photos that I took at the Bromley Pageant yesterday.
  2. Nice one, looks good in red. That must be quite rare.
  3. That looks great. Blutac staining is a distinct possibility!
  4. Anyone thinking of going along? I'll be in the One Make parking area, hope to see a few more Zeds there. Ticket purchase closes around 5th June.
  5. Absolutely love that car Martin. Looking forward to seeing it at Bletchingley soon. It'll certainly attract plenty of attention. We're in Paris this week but should be at the meet this Saturday, 4th June.
  6. I might be wrong, but the 2017 MY has the uprated clutch as far as I'm aware.
  7. Looks so much better with no front plate.
  8. I can't believe how realistic that model looks!
  9. A mate of mine has a 440i - very nice car but just looks rather, erm, unremarkable. The dark blue paint might not help.
  10. You'll see far more BMW 440s than Zeds, of any flavour. Have a look on Autotrader and at least go and view a Z in the flesh. As said before, they are two very different cars - which actually suits your needs?
  11. And I thought that £180k for a Midnight Purple, V Spec, R34 was crackers!
  12. It's been explained above about the tax changes in 2017, you can also read through the quite complicated banding system on the DVLA's website. Fortunately, my 2017 Nismo sits in the sweet spot of £165 for annual RFL - I doubt that I would have bought it had it cost three times as much, as is the case with those just a year or so older. Take a look through Autotrader and see the vast amount of 2017+ 'performance vehicles' that also cost only £165 to tax. It's all about getting the older, more polluting, vehicles off the road and getting us into newer ones. As for MPG and general running costs, the 370Z is a 3.7 V6 (as I'm sure you're aware), so you don't buy it for economy. Mine generally does about 20 mpg locally and around town, but can easily achieve nearly 30mpg on a motorway run - not fantastic, but 50% better than my usual. I did a 365 mile return trip from Surrey to Stafford on the weekend, averaging 27 mpg, a lot of that above 70mph (ahem) on the M40/M6 Toll. If I'd wanted economy on that trip I'd have taken the Ateca which would hit 50mpg, but the Z was more appealing for the job on this occasion! Lastly, routine servicing is very reasonable, particularly if you use one of the specialist indies. It's a relatively simple and low tech (aka lower cost) car to run and with less to go wrong, say in comparisson with a modern M car for example.
  13. Being a regular Autotrader lurker, I keep an eye on prices generally and for anything interesting. Has to be said that there are numerous 370Z Nismos that just sit for weeks, sometimes months, at very inflated prices.
  14. It's all happening after Martin's 'bump' the other day - great stuff.
  15. Awesome car, rare too. Sounds glorious on standard pipes as well.
  16. Went on a pre-Germany road trip yesterday up to Stafford to collect a car that a mate of mine had bought. Total round trip mileage of 357 from Surrey - surprised the Z didn't collapse in shock! A good fast run both ways on the M40 and M6 Toll in particular. A couple of photos, one at a services off the M6 Toll alongside the Lexus RCF after collection and the other back near home alongside a local farm.
  17. Welcome along. If you are buying a 2017 and later, apparently the CSC and the steering lock problem shouldn't be an issue to worry about. They were two things that nearly put me off buying my 2017 370Z Nismo, until I learnt that. One thing that does help preserve the CSC is regular fluid changes to keep the system clean. As for corrosion, the underside of mine looks fine. Future values, who can really tell? Most here probably own a Z because they enjoy ownership of a relatively rare and different car, not for an investment or to worry about what it might be worth at sale time. Mine was three years old when I bought it in early 2021 - 15k miles with one owner - and I think I picked it up for a decent price of £23k, from a dealer. Mine isn't a long term keeper, two or three years, but if I can see pretty close to £20k back for it, that's fine by me. If it's less, so be it. Good luck in your search.
  18. I bought mine from one of the traders here. Asad - 350Z & 370Z UK (350z-uk.com) He's not 'visited' since November last year, so maybe not about anymore?
