  1. Always change the discs and pads at the same time no matter what anyone says, it’s always possible that when replacing discs and pads that the hub hasn’t been cleaned for whatever reason small bit of skuzz can cause a work of pain, the flange it’s self might not even be straight for an odd reason worth getting a run out gauge and finding out, most brakes on cars such as Zs will be vented so the manufacturer will have tested the cooling Efficiency otherwise they’d not be staying in business for long , bearing could allowing excess movement too etc, another thing to note is that maybe the brake pads are now glazed due to the amount of heat so brake fade is also a current issue you could be facing etc
  2. When you had it tracked did you have the wheels balanced?
  3. How long have you owned the car chap? have you ever noticed a power steering leak? mines surrently seeping from the rack inner seals, does there feel like there’s play in the rack? and does it only wobble crazily on full lock? If you can hear a whine on full lock that is usually the sign of the pump straining etc
  4. Little late but on the weekend I replaced the Y piece with my new cobra sport Y section supplied by Zelda ( never thought I’d say that) cheers Dom was exactly as described and sounds amazing! the one gripe I will have is that you would have thought an amazing company like cobra would have thought to put their logo on the underside otherwise what’s the point haha but still really happy!
  5. Finally got round to fitting the popcharger I bought off Shortpaul thanks for that chap, had to make my own bracket which didn’t take long and cleaned it up etc, looks good in the bay but does get hot quickly and I can’t seem to hear much of an intake noise which I know can be normal, when I get round to buying my sports cats and hopefully mapping it maybe hear it more or I’ll go back to standard with k/n panel
  6. Haha maybe for some I really don’t like them
  7. Love all of it apart from the big wang
  8. What headphones said, quite a lot of cars will have the alarm intermittently go off when it senses either a drop in voltage or when voltage is low, have the battery checked or could be a moth/fly or diagnostic might tell you if you have access
  9. Yeah sorry chap after seeing the last post I realised I already committed to my mess up,yours is a beauty though!

    What is this?

Probably an oil bottle that have the extendable nozzles
  13. When you’re cranking a battery should never go below 9v, have you checked your charge light on the battery etc? does it have any acid leaking etc etc, have you tried a load test? all the lights air con radio up see how low it goes down to, how old is the battery? usually 5 years the life of a battery ours are warranted for 5 year life I think
  14. Could always get it wrapped then that way just remove the wrap if you don’t like it
  15. Here is how I’ve hooked mine up that I’ve pulled apart today to have a look the white wire I connected to the yellow and blue and the red to the blue and white, hope this helps
  16. Hard to believe that a car that’s 15 years old can look like this, admittedly close up you can see the stone chips galore but got to do your best!
  17. Hmm could be the sub then potentially, either that or the connection to the sub is faulty, maybe have to pull it apart and check resistance reading
  18. You got pics and how much etc?
  19. Want to see if anyone’s got a decent aftermarket Y piece lying around, I’m running an AAM competition single exit 3” to the y piece join, looking at max £200, don’t trust these eBay specials and crapspeed ones I know that’s what my price range would be if I went for a new piece etc cheers guys
  20. If I remember rightly if you don’t have the right adapter Yada yada the amp won’t work and neither will the sub and rear speakers
