  1. Check the seals on the quarter panel air filters, mine degraded and started letting water in the boot well. From the picture it looks like the left one is broken.

  3. Anything stuck under the car? Plastic bags etc stuck and melted to the underside?
  4. A nice little investment may be a OBD reader (and associated app) Helps identify these issues. I have the below one: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01AC7I7BO/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fabc_QP5D5XHBW05Q0FZK72BA?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 Hope you can get it sorted though quickly and inexpensively

  6. If you take the T pipes off the wipers, do you still get water out of them? When I refurbed my wipers the jets packed up, turns out they were full of crud so I spent a whole afternoon (really!) Pumping hit water through them with a syringe, blowing them through with compressed air and digging crud out with a stripped down paperclip Worked perfectly after that
  7. Thanks @Dicky I hadn't seen the response above the latest. Yeah I think think mine was due to over revving. Not experienced it since and pedal is back to normal. It had a squeak the other day but that's ironed itself out now also. Cheers for the info
  8. Photos and descriptions updated.
  9. Cheers Andy, it'll be a shame to see the Z g but needs must

  11. thanks for the advice. Yes I've a rev-up so its external. Can you get to the slave without jacking the car up? I've got a replacement slave kit I purchased from Tarmac when they had an offer on but didn't want to swap the slave until I did the clutch and flywheel. WD40 good enough to grease it?
  12. Hi, hoping someone can advise on the below... Always seems to be something wrong at the moment. My clutch pedal when lifting off makes a loud squeak which is audible outside of the car. Clutch seems to be operating ok but it also makes a clunky noise but pretty sure it's been there since I bought the car. Short video below. https://youtube.com/shorts/vBg8ryjbEV0 What do you reckon? Thanks Mike
  13. Got them off this evening, replaced all 4 with standard nuts. One more job off the list!
  14. Quick q, Is the recharge stuff good? I ordered some yesterday for my pop charger
  15. @ZMANALEX may be able to offer some advice. If you're close to a specialist it may be worth taking it to them to give it a once over. Horsham dev etc
  16. I'm sure someone with more experience will be along shortly to advise on Tyres and Brakes however for Oil and Filter - check out Opie Oils, put your reg in and it will list the correct oils and filters, they usually do a discount as a service 'kit' and have voucher codes running most months. Defo worth a look.
  17. @Dicky did you ever get to the bottom of this? My house is on a steep-ish hill with little manoeuvre room so it can be a pain to reverse park Past two times there's been a weird smell, drives ok though but the clutch pedal has become a little spongy / noisy when it's being operated etc
  18. Crazy price but yeah, its certainly raises alarm bells. Where are you based? Any Nissan Z specialists around? Offer them a sweetener to come and see it with you
  19. Have a look at @vroom811 videos, some really helpful guides and he's just done a full strip down of his underside. Use that to compare yours and you should have a really good idea of what needs doing.
  20. My dad had a final salary pension with British steel, luckily he got out before it went tits up but a lot of his pals got totally shafted.
  21. Great colour, car looks good from the picture. Fingers crossed it's just routine maintenance stuff that needs doing
  22. This reminds me that I need to look into consolidating all my small pots from various jobs I've worked before. Have a few public sector pension pots, each with a few years contribution and a few private pots but recently as my employer has been quite generous with pay rises recently I've whacked up the % I pay coupled with a salary sacrifice scheme to try and give me the best possible chance at an earlier retirement
  23. Absolutely, can't wait to take the Z out for a proper trip rather than the occasional jaunt to Tesco!
