The ZF8 auto is a great gearbox and I had it in a 640d. I really like an auto in heavy stop/start traffic and they work well in a daily I reckon. On a spirited drive though I always miss the extra interaction of a third pedal and a stick.

I enjoyed reading that article. I've had a Z4M Roadster and I currently have my 370Z GT Roadster and for me I much prefer the chassis/ride/manual gearbox in the 370Z for sure. I've enjoyed reading Modern Classics magazine since it first came out.

Also agree and you will get smoked(quite literally) by a powerful diesel in a 350Z/370Z. There is a lot more to them than that though for sure.

Once I noticed the battery was starting to struggle in the cold weather with my 370Z...I stuck my trickle charger on it and it has brought the battery back to life completely now. If I know that I'm not going to use it for 2 weeks or more I just put the trickle back on it. It may bring yours back to life if you are lucky.

I've had a couple of cars with an auto and they tend to change the way a car feels in a negative way for me personally. I had a E90 330i with an auto and it was a very poor match to the engine for me, and a manual gearbox(appreciate that Bmw's manuals are crap though!) would have transformed the way the car felt for sure.

I'm the same and there was something about the S14a 200SX(gently modified performance wise) that I had for 4 years that other cars I've had couldn't quite match(had a V8 M3/Z4M/Cerbera 4.5 and I still preferred the 200!). I love my current 370Z Roadster as well, and I don't really know what it is but Nissans performance cars just seem to grab me for some reason. I'm a really big fan of Skylines as well. I can't say that I'm that bothered about a Micra though!!

Hello and welcome. Very nice and that looks super clean! I love the mods and it looks mean. I have the same car in the same colour. Mine is standard cosmetically though but I do have spacers/full stainless exhaust and HFC's/stillen gen 3 intakes. Any more pics of yours please?

Very nice. Love the photo with it next to the Z. I had this engine in a X5 4.8iS and it is the most favourite engine I've had(also had a E92 M3/Cerbera 4.5 so very high praise). Silky smooth and nice and torquey...plus it sounds awesome. Enjoy it.

I thought mine didn't last me long at 10 months/10k miles! I hope you can hang onto it. My old one(also manual with EDC).

Completely agree I'm used to driving a Mini Cooper S and I went out in the 370Z today for the first time in just over 3 weeks. To say that I enjoyed driving it is an understatement!
