  1. Hi Ian.. all fitted and looks spot on, thanks again
  2. Spray die Something like above could work, however a change from red to black is pretty dramaticn so would probably take a fair bit to cover. If you look at the reviews, people have done lighter coloured fabric (eg grey) seats to black.
  3. Hi @14N, are you still making these? I sent you a PM a while back but didn't hear anything If not, would anyone be willing to do me a template if I posted them some paper (and a little something for their time/effort)?
  4. Separately. Discs, they price as individual but they will only sell you them in pairs. discs Pads are per axles (so 2 pairs). pads If you're using Carparts4less use discount code PAYDAY to get 17% off the total price. Alternatively if you have a Eurocarparts nearby, find the same parts and use their discount code to get everything for £166.48 with free click and collect.
  5. The unfortunate downside to moving to a quiet and picturesque part of the country
  6. As Title, My 2004 DE has a hefty crack in the front bumper below the headlight where someone has kindly driven into it at some point. I've put it off for a while but as it's now getting worse and the paint is lifting/ cracking along from where the bumper has flexed..I could do with sorting it out. Would consider other aftermarket bumpers also, but preferably nothing too low (cr*ppy roads round my way). Let me know what's about, I'm in Peterborough. TIA Dan
  7. Nope, that's the price for OEM Spec Brembos. I used to put cheaper brakes (i.e. Pagids) on my previous Fiats, I don't think I'd scrimp on a car with this much power
  8. If you don't mind getting your hands dirty doing it yourself and you don't intend on using your car as a "track weapon", the standard Brembo discs and pads will probably suffice. Look out for deals on Eurocarparts/carparts4less and purchase the discs and pads from there. I changed my discs and pads after a similar advisory last year. As an example, you can get the Brembo front discs and pads from carparts4less (ECP's online only shop) for £169.20 delivered at the moment.
  9. I would recommend Cougar Store at Leicester, though it's still an 80 mile drive from you! PM @MITZ@CougarStore and see what he can do for you
  10. The good stuff starts at 50 seconds in.. First Dyno pull at 4.55. Dan
  11. Echoing others above, definitely don't get cocky or try and be a hero.. there's not much room for error if you get it wrong! Also watch for dropped oil after it's been raining, usually followed by people on bikes sliding around on their backsides with their bikes going off in a different direction!
  12. Yes, or ditching social media full stop. I remember a time when every man and his dog didn't think Facebook/ Twitter provided them a pedestal to vent their, often blinkered, views onto other people and call you every name under the sun if you don't share their same said views.
  13. As I've found, the painted metal surfaces seem fine with the pressure from a pressure washer used at a distance. Different story on the painted plastic surfaces, I've had flakes of paint come off quite easily on the wing mirrors
  14. As an update to this, I replaced the controls (from an import model, look slightly different but obviously do the same job). Still no difference. Looks to be either an issue with the plug, or a break in the cable itself as if I hold the cable in a specific way it will work and you can hear a relay clicking in the back of the car. Managed to put it back and keep the cable in said position so it works for now.
  15. Morning @reeceybeaney. Spacer just arrived. Many thanks
  16. With some jiggery pokery they'll probably just about fit in the Z. Worse case they'll definitely fit in the boot of an Astra with the seats down. Just a warning, your first link is not the W brace replacement.. that's the 2 point brace.
  17. Correct. And this is the front (the bigger of the 2 obviously)
  18. I have a Xiaomi 70Mai camera in mine which was well under 30 quid, didn't expect much but was pleasantly surprised. I have mine powered by the power point in the passenger footwell and the cabling running up inside the passenger A pillar trim and around the roof lining. Works well. It can be had from Banggood if you don't mind waiting a while for it to turn up from China. Link on HotUKDeals, with a sample vid.
  19. Hopefully someone may have had the same issue or can point me in the right direction.. Have an issue with my rear demister, potentially the whole demister circuit (as I believe this also turns on the demisters on the mirrors). The button on the centre console is not illuminating once pressed nor is it demisting the rear window or side mirrors. I assumed a blown fuse located under the battery, however it started working (illuminating on press) randomly a month back. It's now stopped working again, which is ideal when the weather change means I actually need to use it! I've checked the ribbon cable from the centre console for kinks/damage and that there's no bent pins on the plug itself, with neither of which seeming to be causing the issue. The rest of the HVAC controls work fine. At my wits end.. any ideas? Car is an 04 GT. TIA. Dan
  20. Welcome fellow P-bog-horror (ha) owner(s), maybe see you around Headlights can be done numerous ways, from a kit that uses wipes to a kit that uses cutting compound and a drill polishing adapter and various things in between. I favour t-cut and a bit of elbow grease
  21. Try contacting @MITZ@CougarStore and see if he can sort you out, he managed to get cobra to send me new gaskets directly when the original ones supplied failed.
  22. Finally got round to fitting to my DE, all spot on. Cheers Chris (and Flyboy)
