  6. Why not save weight and not have it 4WD as 90% don't need it or use it. My mate just had to use his RRS to move a couple of trailers of hay (small) in a dry'ish field. It did not go well.... Low profile tyres,bling wheels and grass ======== Fail....
  7. So 600 mile is about £140 in fuel. At an average of 50 mph it's 12 hours without a stop. At a cheap rate of £15 an hour, that's £180. That's without food,drink and being totaly knackered at the end of it. Is it made of gold ? Probably cheaper to import or buy a new one delivered.

    I didn't say you could use my roads. If you did the A5 Betws y Coed to Llangollen you went past the bottom of my drive.

  13. 25mm hubcentric all round here, same as George and Colin. Not lowered, roads in N Wales are not as good as theirs. (and I'm tight )
  14. Newer CRVs for £11k will have been to the moon and back mileage wise. I have been looking over the last week or two. I'll pm you the link to what I've just put a deposit on. If it's as said and drives well I'll be coming home in it on Monday. (9 hours+ of driving ) They do diesel and auto, the sooty does good mpg , but might be too big as you can have a party in the boot.

Are you prepared to travel is the big question??? Stephs working in Manchester at the moment so about 180 miles a day. (61 plate car on 23k) If you want to chat to her one evening or you fancy a drive and a brew, give me a shout.
