  1. Headlights make or break a car in the age category in my opinion, so good job getting them sent away. The bumpers could just be normal paint age ware, don't forget they're plastic apposed to metal so there will always be a shad difference
  2. Well done for bumping a completely dead thread from over 3 years ago
  3. @Hansburger Those ES2's look the mutts nuts against the solar orange. Wow Here's mine when it was on Nismo LMGT4s and then when I went all Stancey
  4. To add to your woes, this person was 100% a scam. He messaged me Thursday saying they had a had a nismo exhaust for sale which I instantly disregarded as anyone who knows anything knows my nismo has a nismo exhaust... When I went to reply the profile had been deleted Genuinely sorry for you and hope you get your money back
  5. Evening boys and girl's. Wanting to upgrade the HIDs on my Nismo from the standard factory to brighter HIds, I'm thinking somewhere between 5500 - 6000K. Two questions, can someone tell me if you can change the bulbs from inside the arches without removing the headlights, and what type of HID bulb it is? Is it D2S? Secondly, I've been looking at new steering wheels, like the grip royal etc. I like the idea of a factory looking steering wheel preferably with a flat bottom. Has anyone bought any and where from?
  6. I don't unfortunately, that's where my knowledge ends. All I can tell you with certainty is that if you have a 2006 revup, and from the photo you posted you definitely have facelift headlights
  7. Personally, I'd be replacing the rear cover, number 26800N and then the seal around the lower ballest cover, number 26033M. These would be the cheapest fixes. Specifically 26800N is the main offender for letting moisture into the headlight
  8. With Alex on this, take headlight out and remove the rear main cover and dry the headlight out in an airing cupboard. Get a new cover with O ring while you're at it and check the drainage tube isn't blocked while you're at it, jobs a goodun
  9. Happy with that Stu, added bonus is yiu made the Mrs very happy as September is our anniversary, and that picture is the very first car show we attended together 😂
  10. This is what you'll encounter under the MK2 spoiler on the later model Nismos. All but 4 need smoothing, preparation and painting before the new spoiler is ready to go. I've been really struggling to find a bodyshop prepared to take this on
  11. As far as I'm aware, you do not have any ADAS systems fitted. ADAS are things like blind spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist which are normally things like radars, multiview cameras and such. So I wouldn't worry at all. I can say this pretty confidently owning a 370z as well
  12. Did you remove the little square inside the headlight so you could fit the LED or did you find the right size bulbs? Have you got a link?
  13. Millers fully synthetic 5w-40 CFS will suit you just fine, ran it for years in my 96K DE and opie oils do a good deal on it. Now running it in my 39K Nismo Just check oil level regularly on these and you'll be fine. Funny, I found old pictures of mine and Andys car back in 2019
  14. Any advance pictures of the calendars? I sent my payment just now in PM
  15. Goodridge lines, the HELL lines arnt made to fit and coming with annoying pinch line clips which eventually pull through. I wore through two lines on my 350z before I finally upgraded to goodridge. Braided lines will make a very positive difference no matter which brand you go for though
  16. That video Davey posted is exactly what mine looked and operated like, miles better. Personally I hate those LED strip lights, so I kept my eyes out for a set of depo clear rear units. Got them, got LED indicators, reverse and fog lights and bam all wired up looking great.
  17. Yeah they do, you just need to find the right bulbs. First set I bought hyperflashed so sent them back, second set from a different supplier work perfectly front and rear. Quite literally plug and play, and it sounds stupid, but they take years off the car cosmetically. I now cannot unsee incandescent indicator bulbs, they look so ugly with that slow flash on/off. The LED is so crisp and sharp. Thanks, I miss that car alot sometimes. Just wish she wasn't quite as old when I got her!
  18. You can buy switch back LED indicator bulbs that do not need a resistor wiring in. I did on my Nismo and they work perfectly and are super bright I remember HR headlights to me DE, then got the bonnet. Night and day visual improvement
  19. Ignoring the Vpower shortage, I do think alot of people are becoming more aware of just how poor E10 is
  20. Down south this has now become a thing. Luckily the local shell had a delivery last weekend which I managed to brim the tank on but it had run out the following day
  21. Seeing this every time makes me really want to get the Nismo V1 spoiler on my V2. Several bodyshops have turned me away recently saying they don't want to take the risk on the tailgate as apparently it's aluminium and is a pain to weld up. If you ever want a straight swap back to a V2 tailgate, you know where to fine me
  22. Good job on the purchase of a charge / conditioner. I regularly leave mine on for weeks at a time as the Nismo gets very little use, and I went out and bought the wired plugs so now all the family cars are connected meaning if any show signs of getting low, they get plugged straight in! You'll find it will pay for itself very quickly
  23. You can achieve pretty much any look that you're wanting and you can mix and match like I did. Personally feel 350zs desperately need sideskirts to achieve a uniform look if they have front and rear bumpers but the world really is your oyster on these. This was mine with Nismo V1 front, V1 sideskirts, chargespeed rear and V3 rear spoiler
  24. Stick me down for one. I can't copy and paste the list however the forum throws a fit on my Samsung 1. Stutopia x2 2. Kev T x1 3. Harrison140 x1 4. andy James x1 5. HEADPHONES 6: Azurez33 7: StormtrooperZ 8. Hammer67 9. Lyndzzz 10. Matay20 x2 11. Rodgeevans
  25. Put the original exhaust back on and let me buy the invidia 😉 more money in the pot towards the Nismo fund!
