  1. It's electrical / software modification rather than physical / mechanical modification.
  2. Sorry if I'm being a little naive here, but is there much in the way non-cosmetic modifications available for Teslas? Not talking about FI Air BBK Can also hack the s/w to boost performance.
  3. Would only do cosmetic stuff if anything. There's some nice Model S kits, so hopefully the Model X will get the same treatment in the future. http://insideevs.com/tesla-model-s-gets-tuner-attention-unplugged-performance/ http://beforeitsnews.com/motor-junkies/2015/09/tesla-model-s-gt-aerokit-upgrade-the-futuristic-hot-rod-2518094.html
  4. Aye, CSC is internal and the tranny has to be opened I think
  5. Clutch slave cylinder is the usual culprit afaik.
  6. Quote me if I'm wrong but think it carries a lifetime guarantee. I think his point was that it's a lot of faff and extra cost to keep trekking back to Halfords to get a replacement when it breaks
  7. Rear inner sills is super common, but tricky to resolve permanently. Need to get them cut out and new metal welded in.
  8. Open diff can do burnouts, it's getting 2 wheels to spin rather than 1 that's hard. Not too hard in a straight line when each wheel has the same resistance, but not gonna happen when cornering.
  9. Follow this, can't go wrong
  10. Not about speed, just how gentle you aren't with the pedal. Though it looks like you've had a Z for 3 years(?) so I'm guessing you know it pretty well. Since it's only happened once, it could have just been a slippery patch and you've just not noticed the TC. Sounds like you need to go hoon about some more...you know... for science
  11. me? Doubt it But this is why the quote function exists.
  12. Kinda, let me expand... Take 350Z brake discs. If they need replacing, I (think I) know that you can replace them with any OEM equivalent, they don't have to be Brembos etc. However, can you upgrade to a BBK, or would that void something? ELI5
  13. Considering it looks like he has a coupe and was interested in this bonnet for sale, I'm inclined to agree
  14. Simple / easy, but risky. Just oven / heatgun to warm them up so you can crack them open. Once you're done, it's just a case of resealing them, but if you've got to ensure a perfect seal or you'll get leaks.
  15. Aye, know a guy who has the Supra hoodie and it looks pretty decent. My FB feed is filled with Hardtuned ads too, usually the shoes:
  16. ^Agree. The hassle to flush the system is more than just getting the proper stuff and much riskier.
  17. See my post. Translated from French. Not sure what the cabbages are
