I found it in 2 seconds! Googled Peugeot concept cars 80s on account of 2 ever being made and came up with Peugeot Oxia

I cheated and Googled it as it was really bugging me what it was! I won't spoil it though for anyone else

I think my best 'bangernomics' car was an M reg K11 Micra, paid £100 for it with no MOT, cost £40 in parts to put it through the MOT. Then ran it for a couple of years trouble free until getting a new car so I parked it up at my Dad's workshop. New car got written off, out came the trusty Micra for another few months until another car came along, then I drove it to the scrap yard and weighed it in for £105

I was going to say maybe 405 T16 but then saw no numbers in the model name!

Loving the BTCC so far What going on with poor old Jason Plato, he seems to be having a nightmare!

I always used to be until I got my zed, I'd had about 20 cars before I was 30, but my car seems to tick all the boxes for me and can't see me changing it for many years, especially once it gets supercharged. I guess it helps that it's not a daily driver, my wife's got her own car and my daily is my van so driving the zed is just for fun Only thing that would make me get rid though would be I won a few grand on the lottery and I could get a v10 R8!

Can all the other parts needed to fit this still be bought new or is it a case of finding them used or making your own parts?

Definitely agree on the mk4 Fiesta, my Mum had a 1.4 one from new, that was a great fun little car to drive. Can't remember the last time I saw one on the road!

Must admit, I'm a Peugeot fan too! Had 3 405 Mi16s (still got one), 2 205 XS's, a 309 GTi and a 1.6i 309, and a 306 DTurbo! The 205 XS was very under-rated, like the AX GT mentioned earlier in the thread

While we're on the subject of brake lines, does anyone know if there is a supplier of ready made up sets of copper/cunifer brake lines for the 350z? Like Automec do, except they don't list any Nissan models.

I use 225/40-18, and 245-40-18 Toyo R888R's on standard Rays. Work fine with the TCS if you really feel the need to keep it on!

I've done a fair few MSE trackdays (15+ including Lyneham), and they definitely aren't lax when it comes to noise testing, they are very well run and organised days. I've signed the petition but it doesn't look hopeful unfortunately. I know the airfield days aren't 'proper' trackdays as such and they usually rip up your tyres a bit more than Combe, Thruxton etc, but they are still good fun but all seem to be disappearing now. Used to have Colerne, Keevil, Hullavington and now Lyneham which were all local to me.

Hi, do these lift the bonnet the same height, or even a bit higher, than the standard bonnet stay? Thanks
