  1. Sorry didn't read the first part of the thread where it says I need to post a pic up! I'll have a look

  3. While we're on the subject of brake lines, does anyone know if there is a supplier of ready made up sets of copper/cunifer brake lines for the 350z? Like Automec do, except they don't list any Nissan models.
  4. This popped up on my Facebook feed earlier https://www.carthrottle.com/post/this-tesla-model-3-burned-a-set-of-brake-pads-in-just-9-track-miles/
  5. https://www.topgear.com/car-news/geneva-motor-show/you-can-now-order-591bhp-polestar-1 https://www.polestar.com/polestar-1/ I really like it! Hope this isn't a repost, not seen anything about it yet but haven't delved into the depths of the EV thread!
  6. I use 225/40-18, and 245-40-18 Toyo R888R's on standard Rays. Work fine with the TCS if you really feel the need to keep it on!
  7. Looking forward to the BTCC, never really been a fan of F1. Also got a few of the WRC programs recorded but not had a chance to watch them yet.
  8. I've done a fair few MSE trackdays (15+ including Lyneham), and they definitely aren't lax when it comes to noise testing, they are very well run and organised days. I've signed the petition but it doesn't look hopeful unfortunately. I know the airfield days aren't 'proper' trackdays as such and they usually rip up your tyres a bit more than Combe, Thruxton etc, but they are still good fun but all seem to be disappearing now. Used to have Colerne, Keevil, Hullavington and now Lyneham which were all local to me.
  9. Hi, do these lift the bonnet the same height, or even a bit higher, than the standard bonnet stay? Thanks
  10. Hadn't thought about that, thank you!
  11. If your car has had a remap with decats fitted and the rear lambda sensors turned off, then would it do any harm to the engine by refitting the cats for MOT time and for trackdays with quiet noise limits? I know you can get silenced decats but just thought it would be easier (and cheaper) just putting the cats back in when required as long as it won't do any harm.
  12. Thanks for the replies and advice! Looking like it's going to be a Kaaz Alex, that sounds very good I'll PM you in a sec
  13. I'm going to be after an upgraded LSD for my Zed soon once my tax rebate comes in, I'm not sure which one to go for. Car is used for trackdays mainly and for a bit of fun, so definitely not a daily driver so not worried about some extra noise/wheel hopping on tight slow corners. Engine is standard at the moment bar a few bolt-ons, but will be supercharging it towards the end of this year. Suspension is fully polybushed, got BC racing coilovers and am fitting SPC adjustable arms front and rear at the moment. I've been reading posts on here and I'm leaning towards a Kaaz 1.5 super Q, but also have got an eye on the Quaife ATB and the Nismo pro 1.5. Any pros/cons to each? Also was wondering about changing the final drive ratio for something with a bit more acceleration whilst the diff's apart, a 3.9 or 4.08, but a bit worried this would mean some frantic gear changing once it's supercharged! I've seen some posts saying 1st gear would be almost redundant. And finally, is there anyone around the Bristol/South West area who is recommended to fit the LSD unit to the casing, including setting it up, changing any bearings/shims etc that need doing. Thanks!
  14. I was working on my car this morning and was pleasantly surprised to see a printed sticker on the gearbox with CD009 on it I was under the impression these were only fitted to later zeds, so I'm guessing my car has had a gearbox swap at some point in the past? My car's on a 55plate with a DE engine
  15. I'm very glad this thread is on here, saved me buying a crap rad as I was planning to get a Mishimoto one in the new year in preparation for going S/C hopefully next year! Got the fans with shroud that they do fitted and thought it was pretty good like you TT so was going to go for one of their rads, not now though!
  16. Hi Adrian, Do you know if you can pay off an outstanding balance early when you have taken up the 0% finance or are you tied into the set amount of months to pay it off?
  17. Ok great, I'll send you a PM in a bit about ordering them up

    NHS

We had the same experience with St Michaels hospital in Bristol when our daughter was born in March, couldn't have asked for more, all the staff were brilliant. My sister is a Paramedic so I get to hear quite a few stories (good and bad) about the NHS
  20. Thanks for the reply Alex, do you stock all the seating cones?
  21. Evening all, I'm currently going through my car and poly-bushing the suspension and replacing any parts that are worn or a bit tired. The ball joints don't seem to have any play in them, but are a bit 'floppy' if that makes sense when they are taken out of the part they bolt into, so I'm just going to change them all while I've got the car apart for peace of mind and keeping everything in perfect condition. Are all the ball joints available separately or do you have to buy the arms with them already in? I've seen a few for sale in various places, but I don't want to put some cheap rubbish in there I want some proper quality parts. As I'm changing all the bushes on the car it seems a bit of a waste to buy a new arm and take the bush straight out to swap in a polybush, but if that's the way people do it then that's no problem. Also, are there any hints or tips to swapping them over, I've seen that some have a metal cone that the ball joint sits into, do they all have that (front and rear)? I've got access to a workshop with a decent press and loads of tools so I'm sorted in that respect. Sorry for all the questions, all this fancy multi-link suspension is quite new on me, coming from a background of e30 BMW's and 90's Peugeots!
