  1. Definitely do as ShirtPaul suggests. Lift whilst pressing the button. Could try the penny trick, although wasn't a good fix for me. I suggest https://www.opentop.fr/350z?lang=en if that's the problem.
  2. If you've not done it before on the Z or any other V6 or V style engine, just do one at a time so you don't give yourself a headache when you connect the coil connectors in the wrong order.
  3. Travelling along the B5410 this morning around 8am, reg ended UZT.
  4. Stopped at the main lights in Carrington, heading towards the direction of Sale around 12.15pm today. We exchanged a nod as I turned right, if you're on here. Personal plate ending JDM.
  5. Mine actually felt cooler on Tuesday in the hotter weather than any previous time I've used it, was very refreshing. I know they operate better the hotter it is, I think.
  6. Parked outside Modnation on Cawdor St, Eccles yesterday morning.. Front splitter & a few other mods.. You on here?
  7. Their diagnostic machine should have stated which bank. The sensors are different too, one is angled, the other is straight. Can't remember which is for which bank though.
  8. Replied to. Both sets still available.
  9. Latest part number for the gen 1 Murano with the DE is 49110CB00C, the 350Z DE upto 2007 is 49110CF50B Not sure what the differences are though I'm afraid. Both part numbers have previous, older supersessions.
  10. Exactly, so enough for 2 Zeds. These are for the DE I should've said originally😁.
  11. I went with the one supplied with my Pioneer, much the same as many others out there: Click here. Passenger side & it doesn't get in the way of anything.
  12. I got the following: Wiring kit. From memory I only bought the harness & patch lead from these people, the facia adapter was a Scoche one off ebay for about £12. I don't see the DAB aerial in your kit, usually about £15-20. You'll need to select 'powered antennae' from the Pioneer unit during set up, from memory. I don't remember if there's any factory phono connections as it was about 18 months ago when I did mine. You won't need to use the extra metal cage, but you will need to use the factory Bose head unit brackets on the side. I found I had to cut a small piece off each of them at the bottom to get them to fit. If you're not too familiar with fitting a stereo it can all seem a bit daunting, but there's plenty of guides around that should help you.
  13. I got the 250DAB, as long as you get the correct plug & play harness for the Bose system, installation is plug & play. You'll need to ground the light green wire though, I used one of the screws on the heater control module behind the dials. Make sure you get the Pioneer patch lead too, normally free with whatever unit you buy. This is so you regain the steering wheel controls.

    Brembo's

They are Brembos, I can assure you. They're just rebuilt ones with new pistons, seals, bleed nipples, crossover pipe & a black powder coat, they still have the Brembo logo embossed on the rear.

    Brembo's

If you head over here, refurbished Brembos are very cheap, I've used them in the past. They come black: https://brakeparts.co.uk/
  16. I have 2 sets of brand new NGK PLFR5A-11 / 6240 spark plugs for sale. Asking £40 per set of 6 including recorded delivery. Payment by Paypal friends & family please.
  17. Mine are still going strong about 3 years on😎. From memory the clear ones are quite hard to find, I got myself a genuine pair off ebay, used, they were about £40 a few years ago.
  18. Waiting at the lights on Park Road around 11.30am this morning. Drove past you & you hard your arm out the window acknowledging me as I past, so I gave a couple of toots.. Not seen this one around before.. Has the LED rear main lights so guessing an 06+.
  19. From memory, the strap isn't available on it's own from Nissan. The strap goes brittle over time so maybe a used one will break upon removal. I bought a new cap when my strap snapped, wasn't too expensive from Nissan either.
  20. Around 3pm today at the car wash on Warburton Lane. Looks like it'd just been washed, not seen it around here before, it had Nismo style front & rear bumpers along with spoiler, sounded like an aftermarket exhaust too. Reg was something like L333 LRK.. I pulled away heading in the direction of Lymm. Are you on here?
  21. Read up on doing a coolant change too, they can be difficult to bleed. I'd suggest one of those coolant filling kits to raise the level as high as possible. I've found most things on the Z are fairly well designed & good to work on so far.
  22. I've also read & heard that Mishi radiators on the Z aren't that good either. Make sure to raise the reservoir level higher than the engine if you have access to a coolant bleed / fill kit, this will help get the air out, along with you bleeding the valve by the bulkhead.
  23. No need to go as far as his videos. I've changed mine plenty of times. Just turn the steering wheel to the opposite side you're working on, undo the one screw at the top of the dirt shield & pull it away. 😎
  24. This morning heading along Blossom Street passed the Blossom Cafe (soaking up the stag do weekend drink), around 11am, sounded a bit fruity too👌.
