Hi and welcome along. You wont go wrong with Michelin tyres really. They are great in wet and dry conditions, as above they do tend to last a long time as well. The issue I found with the Continental was they didn't last long at all.
  3. Hi and welcome along buddy. Lovely looking Z you have there.
  4. Excellent work bud. Keep it up and keep updating s as you go!
  5. Hi and welcome along buddy. I have had 1 of these and I put on the Tarmacsportz short tails. It sounded lovely, not over loud but very nice when on the throttle. If you can post a sound clip of yours. Lets have a listen. I will see if I still have a sound clip of mine. Lovely looking car by the way!
  6. Hi and welcome along buddy. Lovely looking car!
  7. Check out @buster he has them on his car and his wifes vert. they look great.
  8. That is such a shame! Hi and welcome along, I as above would be offering £12-£15k I assume it has no MOT either? There could be problems underneath also as its been sat for 2 years... However they are fantastic cars!
  9. Hi and welcome along buddy, I can't help you out on your issues unfortunately, so good luck with your venture. I am sure some of the more knowledgeable members will be along soon enough to help you out. Let's see some pictures of your new cool whip though!

Hi Paul, Not Birmingham however there is a company in SevenOaks that specialise in vert roofs. Called Carhood warehouse. They did my wifes 350Z roof back in 2020.
  11. Hi and welcome along. You will do very well to find an old car without rust as you probably very well know. Some suffer from rot and some suffer from surface rust as you said. Most are fixable. This looks like surface rust and most of the consumable parts are replaceable. Good luck in your search.
  12. Hi buddy, if that's the original clutch it has done well. My wifes car is still on its original clutch and it is on 80,000 ish miles. Some last a lot less aome last a lot more miles. It all depends on usage really. I have known them to fail around 30-40,000 miles.
  13. It's always sad when they go. I have been back in Zeds 4 times now. They're such great cars. So what's next then?
  14. Hi and welcome back. Lovely looking car.
