I havent but ive seen numerous track videos...Im sure i can find videos where these Caymans and Boxsters are overtaken by Z with basic ecutek mods.....also if you look at the power/torque figures between both cars. Taking away weight and engine position. Youre making it seem like its miles away. Like the Z is a 200hp hatchback against a 320hp mk8 Golf R....Not the case here. Advantage in the bends maybe. If that's the case youtuber track drivers like nismozeta in Poland etc should be getting smoked every time by 981 Caymans which offer similar power. Yet hes keeping up with more powerful cars and equivalent Porsches. Sure he needed mods but it didnt cost within range of the stock Cayman.

The 350 and 370 are meant to be equivalents to the Cayman S 987 and 981 S. Bar engine position and PDK gearbox theres not much in it. Can chuck it down to better handling and driving dynamics. Caymans a better car sure. The 370 is a very capable car as seen on many track videos where a competent driver is keeping pace and overtaking cars that have more power up to 400hp. Obviously its dependant on lots of factors affecting driver, cars and track.

The headlights alone are £1500 so gd price. On the GT Edition the camber is good. Just needs spacers and springs

Better driving dynamics I agree with Ekona despite not having driven any. Then balance the fact of reliability. Owned 4 Zeds over 7 years Honestly the issues ive had were Wet seatbelt Warranty claim on starter motor for 350Z banana arms DTV tramlining burning clutch TPMS light Strange occurrences of dash lights that fix themselves. All trivial issues that can be sorted. Fortunately no steering lock issues or gallery gaskets the expensive bits 987 has its own well known issues not cheap to fix but you could spend easily £5000+ in a year for repairs going by research into the 981. Much rarer to spend that on a Z but can be done. We all know the engine/gearbox repairs arent cheap Engine at the back, MR experience isnt common. You only get that in supercars or the odd roadster. MR2, Alpine and the like. Its gives a different dynamic and balance to the car Weight differences about 100kg lighter. Power and Speed not much in both cars. A Porsche would probably be on your case if you were in a Nismo vs a 981 S....Nismo vs 987 obviously the Nismo has a little bit more power but not the same handling. 350 is more comparable to the 987.

The 370 convertible is the only one I havent had. Ive test driven the 350 convertible. The white and blue roadsters sell quickly.

I had 1 350Z, 2 Nismos and Now 370Z GT. Ill leave it there. Lol 370 doesn't sound as good but I prefer it. More grip at the back, more refined. Being Auto up and gone. Manual is modern manual and smoother with synchro rev 350 more raw. Road tax mehh Higher seating position and more road presence. Slightly more Torque.

Yep will check them out. Whereas the Z has no warranty claims or repair bills in 15 months at all. Full service + MOT done including plugs and coolant £500 Just brakes and tires to do. Around £1800. Then possibly gearbox/diff plus P1 service next year at 60k. £500 + basic p1 service of £100-£150.

Ive seen a GT4 in real life whilst at a hospital parked up. While it looks small and low its still iconic. Not concerned about whats manly or whats not. We drive Fairladys lol....Id still take it as the handling, the drive and experience matters a lot. Would warranty cover exhaust valves, engine mounts or air con. I have a feeling theres some wriggling out of these with manufacturer. Engine mounts seem wear and tear. £2400 apparently Aircon unit one youtuber paid £1300 to get sorted. There was an aftermarket option for slightly less. Warranty and paid repairs come with 2 years cover.

Actually driving speeds up the warm up process. Does the car have the sports exhaust? Seems its already got a sports exhaust if it isnt specced. Nothing wrong with driving off straight away. Im suprised no one looked out the window. Someone left some food on my Z when i parked at the station. Maybe I woke them up. Theres more expensive cars than mine. Sport and Sport Plus off? German sports cars are harsh for 60 seconds no matter whatlol m3 v8 is like that but it goes nicely quiet after.

Id say drive off straight away but let the rotational mass do the work. The initial ignition is harsh but not as harsh as a v10 or v12 so yeah. Its funny that a pilot on 70-140,000 per year is concerned about bounty bar kids car. Wrong move.....youre giving people a chance to dictate your life. Im not gona lie its loud enough to reach the houses across and vibration is the annoying part. If hes going to be working nights hes not going to be sleeping at 7:30 but about to start sleeping. Starting and driving off is what i did with the shorttails. its sluggish but 99% of people put up with it as the vibration is more irritating than the noise for neighbours. In my area we are dealing with 5 months of renovations. So i dont want to hear anything in future. Hes a hater. Let him move

Thats why certain enthusiasts are sticking with NA until we have to go electric or alcohol... I went in a £100,000 911 base Carrera. Lots of swooshing, soft induction sucking and hissing going on. 400+ hp. Looks the business, goes well. The you got older GTS NA and other naturally aspirated cars that arent as quick but make a great sound at mid range to top end I guess have to make a choice of power vs near full package when spending average money. All things considered at some point could get it all depending on what you like

Wear and tear no ones covering. There are some warranties especially from the dealer that will cover failures all in the fine print. These are not covered which is understandable. Wiper blades Tyres Brake pads and brake discs Shock absorber Clutch disc and clutch pressure plate Drive belt including tensioning guide rails and roller Spark plugs Batteries PDCC reservoir Coolant All light bulbs (excluding Xenon and LED-lamps) All filters, fluids, oils and greases £3200 for 4 shock absorbers? Must be NASA grade tech 😂
