  1. There's a far easier way to determine how people feel about independence. You don't ask them if they think Scotland should be independent. You ask them If Scotland were already an independent country, would you vote to enter a political union with England under the exact same terms we have now? Not a single person in thier right mind would. It would be akin to asking the Americans if they fancied being a Colony all over again.
  2. Glad to hear you've stuck with Nissan Pete, can't have you going German on us ;-) Looking forward to a full critique from a long term zed owner. I know Jeff had a Dig-T before he got a Z and rated them quite highly.
  3. Quite the opposite, he was really touched at the support and asked if we could do it again next year! He's 84 so it's an unprecedented thing to happen to you at that stage of life. I'm still sad that he bought a grey car as it means that the bullies won Crowdfund to have his new car resprayed yellow with a courtesy car while it's away lol More power to the canaries!
  4. So this happened today http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-tayside-central-39478203 I have no idea whether this counts as a legal precedent or not, but it's not exactly a welcome development insofar as "fair" parking charges in Scotland apply. My legal understanding is that because PoFA doesn't exist in Scotland, the PCN can only be issued to the motorist, not the keeper of the vehicle. i.e. Keeper Liability - any letter sent out always makes the assumption that the keeper was driving the car and relies on an admission of guilt or a reply with who was driving. (which you shouldn't do) It looks as though this lassie completely messed up and misunderstood the term of "legally enforceable" to mean that they can't touch her regardless of what she does. She appears to have been in dialogue with the company over a permit to use the car-park, so it's patently obvious who the keeper & driver were in this case. Many people I know ignore these types of Parking Charge as they are fundamentally just an extortion racket & while I believe the vast majority of people could simply use the "PoFA / Keeper liability" loophole to say they weren't driving a PCN'd car at the time it was ticketted - I fully expect the PCN Parasites to start citing this case as a threat to prosecution, just like they did with the Beavis ruling.
  5. Ha ha this is awesome! http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-gloucestershire-39456449 https://www.facebook.com/groups/279351345813190/?fref=nf
  6. That's what I'm thinking - it's not a Z33 spoiler - well, not any that I've ever seen.
  7. I actually thought about your build when I saw this Olly, as it's probably the only other V3 rear in the country that doesn't come connected to a Nismo built car haha!
  8. https://www.facebook.com/groups/637156303068646/permalink/1234657659985171/?sale_post_id=1234657659985171 Seen this car before, guy selling it previously erred in saying it was an S-Tune when in truth its a bit of a mongrel - has s a V2 front, V3 rear - and I have no idea what that Spoiler is, looks like an extreme version of a Veilside? Or maybe borrowed of a different car altogether? A lot of car for £5k though, I'd say.
  9. I didn't perchance see you driving this at the Beach Boulevard last Saturday (25th March) did I? I was in my 380RS at the time.
  10. Other half's colleague. Won £250,000 on an online casino and then a month later won £350,000 on the same site. I'd have called it quits the first time round. She had to confiscate the M5 she bought for her man as he ended up getting 9 points lol he had it less than 6 months...

    Nismo 350z?

I've definitely seen a genuine silver S Tune GT for sale. In Japan, obviously.

    Jdm import

No probs bud, we're here to help. Both of my Zeds have been JDM and I wouldn't hesitate in getting another.

    Jdm import

Absolutely nothing wrong with a JDM spec 350z provided it has been well looked after and hasn't been driven every winter since it arrived. Japs don't underseal thier cars to prevent corrosion, so make sure that's already been done, or inspect the underside to see how bad it is. Ignore the W brace, that perishes on every car. JDM OEM sat navs do not work in the UK. You can get the old Navara units to work with the screen but be realistic, the Nissan system is dogshit, stick to a tom tom or similar if you're planning long trips. Truth is, the JDM market offered a lot more trim levels than the UK market, some might come with brembos, some might not. The Japanese and the US are also the only two countries that had official Nismo releases. UK cars have the V2 aero, but no Nismo parts or tuning. Post up some adverts for the cars you're looking at so we can help further. Cheers G
  14. Was out in the 380 for my Birthday today and had breakfast - you were driving a Black 350z and looking for a parking space at the beach boulevard, I gave a friendly peep. 2nd of the day was a Yellow (might have been GT4) heading into Banchory town centre, similarly peeped at you. No reg's sorry, my blackvue is up the chuff atm
  15. Final thought on this. It's perfectly right that the emails this guy got from members on here pillorying him for his poor advertising and response to Paycos very reasonable message. As a community it's surely part of our unspoken remit to make owning a zed a rewarding experience, not a painful one when they find out it isn't equipped with 50 more horses or a more desirable body kit / exhaust. Not every person will do their homework before buying a Z, some will be good people who could end up contributing a lot to the forum, but are utterly clueless about what to look for & a bad experience (read poor sale) might turn them off for life. My point is, none of us should be afraid to point out any exaggerated bullshit when chancers are selling cars on eBay or beyond - it can only help the forum in the longer term.
  16. Just stopped this lol and GMB just best me to it!
  17. 450bhp but at the end of the day you're still driving the car your nan takes to collect her pension.
  18. Been playing ME: Andromeda since my preordered and remote control nomad arrived yesterday. It's awesome.
  19. Two ads for the same car running concurrently. He needs rid of that car for some reason. Think it's terribly rude of him to tell you to "**** Off" Payco, if I'd bought the car in good faith off of someone and the original owner contacted me when I was trying to sell it I'd be all ears. The language used in the advert is unflattering boy racer mince to be fair, no doubt it's a wideo who just after making a profit off of your hard work. Coincidentally, another Z that the old owner claimed had 350bhp / 400bhp from a stock engine has made an appearance in Scotland...
  20. I am a fan of the widow maker, welcome to zedland
  21. Won't be till next year at the earliest. Japanese manufacturers like to time thier April releases of new cars with the TAS in January. Gives the Osaka Auto Messe a chance to showcase too. Looking at a another 12 month's buddy.
  22. Leftfield answer! I like it. Always had a soft spot for the esprit. Finding a decent example might be a challenge.
  23. Been considering what I'd purchase for the nominal sum of £150,000 for a while now - toyed between multiple cars, a single car, a fleet and still can't decide what it is I'd plump for. My criteria is simple enough. High performance, rare, more likely to appreciate than depreciate and of course, road legal. This is asking what YOU would buy, so there are no wrong answers. The cars I've considered are R34 GT-R, Nismo R35, NSX Type R, Porsche 911 GT3 RS or something even more exotic, say a Lamborghini or Ferrari.
  24. Big Wings definitely work. Anyone who's paid attention to Japanese motorsports will remember this video from years ago. Car is massively unstable without a big gay wing, it's not just for show haha.
