Haha I wouldn't worry about that Stu, to create QE you need a particle smasher like the LHC or similar. Particles are "birthed" in atomic explosions and their partners isolated. So unless your mum was at least 2/3rds Large Hadron, you're safe!

I used to live, work & travel across Europe & Africa visiting oil & gas terminals / refineries when I was first teching & can sympathize completely. I watched lads blow a whole months wages down the bookies / casio due to boredom or worse, end up pickling their liver 7 nights a week in the local sports bar. It's always worse in places like the Shetlands & Orkney for boredom and drinking - but then again, places like Hamburg & Rotterdam have thier pitfalls, too. I ended up enrolling for a university degree a few years but still get similarly bored offshore when I don't have any university coursework & after I graduate next year I plan on remedying any future spells of boredom with buying a games console for leaving offshore. Dunno if the sound of buying an Xbox for spells of boredom appeals!

So I spent the whole of today in this beautiful machine all the way back from Newcastle to Aberdeen and doubt I had a single spermatozoa left in my sackatoza afterwards. I've known the owner of this car a long time, but I've never been sold on the merits of it until I'd spent 400 miles in it. It's an absolute beauty, powerful, elegant and the wow factor is something else. What's not to love about an R34 GT-R? Seriously considering ​pulling the trigger on one of these in the very near future.

Wouldn't have mattered if the Alarms had worked. The advice from the Housing Association and the Fire Service was in the event of fire, STAY PUT. That advice was predicated on the assumption that the block is designed to compartmentalise and restrict the spread of fires. The cladding fundamentally changed the fire rating of the building, obviously no cause & effect analysis / risk assessment / management of change performed prior to commissioning the upgrades. The residents brought up the issues of fire safety multiple times but we're fobbed off, threatened with legal action or told to take it to court (with no legal aid, as Cameron cut it 7 years ago) That's where the true scandal lies. I agree that posting pictures of the poor c@nt who's Fridge Freezer blew up is completely out of order, but what do you expect from newspapers these days? They get a better reaction blaming some foreign lad for his faulty appliance than using the headline "Austerity Kills" The immediate reaction of folk was commendable, but since then we've seen well-off Kensington resident's throwing tantrums because some of these survivors might get housed in the same complex as them. Really? Anyone could move next door to you and you wouldn't know how or where they got their money. They could be a drug dealer or a blood diamond slave master, but you don't care, he's rich so must DESERVE to be there. But the minute someone who you KNOW is **** poor and previously lived in a council high-rise, you lose your sh*t about having them move next door!? I despair.

The headlight design is reminiscent of the Datsun 240z, which would have been an excellent touch on a completely different car. It looks like a deformed Jaguar/skyline fastback hybrid.

Wasn't a member in 2014, but if I had been I'd have given you the same advice as the body shops - The A pillar is a notoriously difficult part to remove / easy part to break - many people who try to fix leaks find that out the hard way.

They are not very common at all, even in Japan they are few and far between with the limited production of them. In collector's circles over there it's widely regarded as a future investment, provided it's stock and in excellent condition. They vary between 3.5 million Yen & 4 million, mostly on colour (white is the most desirable), mileage, condition & mods. I've seen some rougher examples in silver go for around the 3 million mark. Also, it's quite obvious that the victim was emotionally vulnerable, probably suffering from some form of mental health disorder.
