  1. That is lovely. From someone with a pearl car, these are beautiful in person, photos genuinely don't do them justice. Impeccable taste in exhaust & wheels! ðŸ˜
  2. Same as Jeff, went to the same show & our resident 'tographer took some ace snippy snaps :-)
  3. As soon as you described the issue, I immediately thought coil pack.
  4. I got an AVIC-F77-DAB unit when I got the 380RS as wanted a decent CD-free stereo system that had an independent SatNav system that also had reversing camera functionality as well as AppleCarPlay / Android Auto. Was very happy with the product, I use a CCD reversing camera that encloses one of the rear license plate bulbs. http://www.pioneer-car.eu/eur/products/avic-f70dab
  5. Haven't posted a photo of a Zed in a while!
  6. Depending on your budget you have quite a choice, really. We have a for-sale section on the forum. You could also seek to import a JDM spec vehicle from the likes of JM imports or Torque GT etc. Jurgen at JM organised the IVA for my Z last year.
  7. Personally, I make my own mango chutney, spiced pickle and Raita. You can call them condiments if you like, I wouldn't. I also make my own hollandaise, bearnaise and Dianne sauce when Steak or eggs Benedict is in the offing Again, if you need ketchup to make your own cooking worth eating...
  8. You cook your own poppadoms?
  9. I despise condiments. If your food needs ketchup to make it palatable, you're shite at cooking. 2nd day curry, stew, chilli etc tastes BETTER than the day it was originally made. Fact. Same with tandoori-tikka pizza. Also, It's the missus who you agree with regarding cold pizza who insists on keeping ketchup in the fridge. Weirdo.
  10. The day before I invite my friends round for working on the cars or other non-female influenced activities (fitba, tennis) I order a full size tandoori tikka pizza the night before and stick it in the fridge as soon as it arrives. Missus thinks I'm mad for serving cold pizza & beer, but she has no idea.
  11. Hey Colin, It failed as I never received the activation email that finalises your account and allows you to post. I was a lurker for about 3 months and I continually emailed the admins from the same account with no responses. As soon as I used a non hotmail account, it worked. If you PM me I'll shoot you the email address I used so you can see it hung up in the system.
  12. Not always. I tried joining a few years ago using a hotmail account and got no joy. Did the same thing with a Gmail account and boom. Here I am. I did mention this at the time but assumed it was already acted upon. Apparently not.
  13. Mine is Z-Fanatic, but cant help thinking it should be Z-ealot as a play on words :-) Unicorn wrangler would also suit 😂
  14. Should do a monthly competition where members perform obsequious, pointless tasks or share funny, humiliating stories for the forums amusement and in return, they get a forum title. Proper badge of dishonour 😂
  15. Stick it on for £7k with the expectation of £6.5k and if you're patient enough, that's what you'll get. Zed looks clean, but due to the bargain nature of these cars, there's not a lot of leverage in squeezing value out of it's mods or style. Many people buying a Z at this end of the market will want to do their own thing to it, be it wheels, paint, wrap or body kits. In those circumstances interested buyers will not care how it looks right now, just how much money they have left over after buying a base vehicle. Good luck with your eventual sale.
  16. While headed south on Mugiemoss Road I spotted a very nice looking blue nismo front-ended 350z import with a Tommy Kaira Z emblem on the rear. I was in my 380 and gave you a peep. Hope you're local, I'd love to get a look at your car close up at a meet!
  17. did adding a tracker and second alarm reduce the cost? Not really, I had to have those two as a minimum for an agreed value policy. It was just the faff of having to get UK spec thatcham to replace what was already a factory immobilizer and alarm. Top tip, do not let an alarm installer convince you to fit a 2:1 upgrade on a import. Learned that the hard way.
  18. Broadly been happy with the policy and service from AF with the 380. Took a considerable amount of time to find an underwriter who would agree to insuring it and the too-ing and fro-ing regarding the tracker / alarm / valuation was frustrating but since that was all ironed out, no issues.

  20. I posted this car up a while back. Search for "sports resetting" - was an option Nissan owners got to "Nisify" their standard Z's I misnamed the thread Z Tune http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/113258-nismo-z-tune-fairlady-z/page__fromsearch__1
  21. Picked up the 200 piece pro set a few years ago for £120. Bargain.
  22. I did the same, kind of - using the old XMBC (Pre KODI) on an old Xbox 1. I had a 4TB drive installed & stuffed it with all the original xbox games I could find as well as Emulators & ROMS for PSX, PS2, PSP SNES, NES, Gameboy, MS, MegaDrive, GameGear, Saturn (very hard finding a decent emulator) 32x, MegaCD, 3DO, Atari Jaguar, MAME, Coin-Ops... do I need to go on? There's no SD card functionality but there is internet & FTP for managing the game libraries. Only issue (if you see it as an issue) is that I can't use any new type of controller, stuck with a slimline version of the original. I can however use the Steel Battalion controller I bought like 15 years ago.
  23. Coilpacks. Called it.
  24. Coilpacks. My money is on the coilpacks.
