Ah, I thought it was fixed with the Revup? Good to know!

    2006 black 350z

2006 makes it a revup, so single throttle, slightly more power than the earlier DE, also means no need for breathing mods as Nissan "fixed" thier plenum issue with the new engine design. Will assume you had either a 2002-2004 DE or 300zx prior to this? Can't imagine anyone trading down from an HR though I'm sure it's happened.
  4. Oh dear lord, I need to find me a Passat GT-R! 😂
  5. Och, I've done worse, bought a Nismo shifter and mats so stuck a daft italic Nismo badge on the back. More confused as to why the RS is in the style of an Audi... reminds me of the fabled Nissan DC5 Type 370z...
  6. I think the Nismo 370z MKII suits a bigger wing, personally. It's an aggressively styled car & the rear looks a bit bare-bones without it.
  7. Well, we're going to see about that. Uk independence, scottish independence, whats the difference, you dont want to be ruled by the majority of the uk voting public but happy to be ruled by the eu, I truly hope you get what you want Let me explain why that's a load of utter b0ll0cks. The UK shares a small part of its sovereignty with the EU, mostly in the aim of homogenization of trade, human rights & the laws underpinning both - but the EU cannot force the UK to say, house nuclear weapons from Germany on its soil anymore than it can impose punitive electricity transmission charges based on how far away our power stations are from Brussels. (Yes, that happens in Scotland because we're soooo far away from London) Scotland shares NO sovereignty with England as part of the UK. The only illusion of sovereignty we get is if what we vote for happens to be mirrored in England. A single MP here voted for the renewal of Trident, but despite this, it's happening anyway. Nobody voted for a conservative government or for Brexit, either but we're expected to get on with it, despite the majority voting against it. Three years ago we were promised the earth if we voted no by 3 arseh0le politicians who aren't even in charge of their respective parties anymore - instead we got the neutering of Scottish MP's at Westminster to satisfy a horde of unhappy Mail & Express readers who have been spoon-fed racist, anti-scottish horseshit for the last 20 years. The Yes Camp started-off at 28% of the vote in 2011 and finished at 45% in 2014 - If anyone seriously thinks that none of the above is going to count for something in the minds of voters this time around, they're mental.
  8. Well, we're going to see about that.
  9. But by all accounts it is Germany saying, we wont agree to anything, perhaps to the letter of the law as Ekona says. Here's the rub of it. The UK can and should say more than the EU can because it is acting as a singular entity. All this "Germany" talk loses sight of the bigger picture that there are 26 other member states who will have an effective veto on the terms of the final deal and in any future deals. That means that even if you got everyone in the UK to agree to bestest most amazingist deal in the whole wide world, it's not just 1 person or indeed one group of people at the EU who has to agree to it, it's the heads of the other 27 nations in the EU. Do you really want to **** any of them off by leaving the shadow of deportations hanging over them? Won't it be fun when we're stuck in legal limbo & can't sign any future trade deals because the Polish & Irish plebiscites keep rejecting the terms of Brexit. The chance to show initiative and assure folk that their desire insofar as possible is to give EU citizens the right to remain has long since passed. So why would ANY of the 27 member states not want to have good trade deals with the UK and why would ANY of those member states not want any of their countrymen & women already living here protected by way of saying UK citizens will be protected in tehir countries, but the "eu" as an entity, have openly said in so many words, it will not be an easy process, why, because its a political cluster f&ck! I'll give you two examples. UK wants to retain its EU banking license but also to repatriate fishing. Galicia's economy relies heavily on unfettered access to fishing grounds in the north sea - changing anything to upset Galicia's economy will result in Spain veto'ing the UKs banking license. Ergo, the fishing is NOT going to repatriate fishing despite all the assurances it would. That's just a microcosm of the kind of @*!# you're going to have to deal with for the next 2-10 years.

  11. Countdown to this thread getting locked - T Minus....
  12. Just be very very careful mate - empty road, plenty of light - no witnesses lol
  13. I reckon its the TCS preventing tyre slip when your applying power - I get this every so often & it can be pretty frustrating. A surefire way of finding out is find a dry, empty road and try it again with the TCS on and again with it off - be warned though, I had the arse of the Z snap out on me on a dryish section of road before with the TCS off and all I was doing was getting up to speed on a dual carriageway.. Keep that button on otherwise is my advice.

Technically, if its a Japanese import its a V35 or Skyline GT350 Near identical to the USDM Infiniti G35
  15. So I've had the 380RS nearly a year now and my insurance is due for renewal next month. I'm currently with Adrian Flux on an agreed value deal with 8 years NCB - have a few questions for our insurance traders on renewal. The valuation of the car was based on receipts & exchange rate at the time of purchase, which is fair enough - due to the slump in the £ & increase in value of this particular model, to replace the vehicle like-for-like with the same agreed valuation would be impossible - therefore my primary question is, is a revaluation of the car carried out as a matter of course or do I need to request the underwriters take a look at it again? I already looked to getting a private valuation from Julian Schoolheifer & other automotive specialists but they won't commit to carrying out a valuation on it because of the age / lack of data available for it. Thanks in advance for any feedback
  16. I had an issue like this on my Zeta Meister Rs on my old Zed. You know how I fixed it? I adjusted the stiffness all the way and backed it off, returned it to mid way and it stopped. Don't ask me how or why, but it did.
  17. So I recently moved house & had a barn (read garage) built to store my pride & joy - I also took the opportunity to buy a K3 Karcher with an Autobrite HD foam Lance - results below; I have to say I was pretty impressed with how thick i managed to get the foam, I've seen it ridiculously watery before but not with this :-) In case anyone fancies giving it a whirl: http://www.autobritedirect.co.uk/index.php/autobrite-hd-foam-lance-magifoam-combo.html
  18. This would royally **** me off - how exactly was the decision over who gets what parking space reached? Is it a management / pay-grade type deal? If not, at the very least it should have been put to a ballot? Most places I've worked have a first come first served policy
  19. I've seen a car written of in a collision under 20mph - Supra MKIV and an old volvo 340. Struggled to comprehend how much damage was done with such a low speed, but there you go.
  20. True, but valet mode won't stop an accident occuring if someone decides to drive your car like a fud. If they total it they can make up any cockamamie story they like and you'll get the market value of your car. Sorry chum, @*!# happens.
  21. Massive difference between arbitrarily spying on what someone is doing and catching someone abusing your car on a test drive. Most dashcams are ignition activated so it's highly unlikely you'd catch them doing anything other than driving your car.
  22. A member on here was racially abused by the staff performing a service on his car iirc. Only came to light because the dash cam recorded them. Would I want to know if the company paid to service my vehicle employed racist arseholes? Would you? In addition, didn't a guy who put his Porsche in to a garage recently have it written off by the garage owner's son? They paid out £12k insurance and managed to avoid any criminal negligence charges, had that been caught on dash cam showing the young lad driving like a walloper it'd have been a different story. The cam stays on, or the service happens somewhere else. Period.
  23. First response to this question nailed it. Mates mum had a spate of men in her life when she was younger (by golly she was hot back int day) and my mate has nothing but good things to say about them all, despite her stringing them all along as beautiful women can/do. The real issue here is about you though, mate. You need to get over this relationship because while you still have contact with your ex, that isn't happening, ever. Take it from someone who knows, if you genuinely want her back the process is exactly the same for moving on, which is that you have to completely get over her first. Yes, that means no contact, it means seeing other people and definitely means making yourself happy without her in the equation, including seeing the young lad I know all this is easier said than done, but trust me, this method is like ripping off a plaster in comparison to being eaten up slowly from the inside. Good luck with whatever you end up doing.
