Something similar happened to me ages ago, probably 20 years ago. Left my badminton racket on my dad's car roof. Didn't realised it when i went searching for it a couple of days after.....Doh!!! As you said......good excuse to get a new phone =)

I think this area (within 1 mile radius) has the most Z33 in UK, 4 Zeds in my work place on St Andrew's (2 kuro black, 2 azure blue), 2 kuro black in Kirklees College, and 2 zeds near Lidl, Wakefield Road (1 blade silver, 1 kuro) - 8 zeds in total

i'm pretty confident that Rolex don't "do deals" with independent watch shops. You'll probably find that its a combination of reduction in tax, and most likely brand new/un-worn. You are probably right. Didn't really dig further on the reasons why, but been told Rolex is trying to control that soon due to independent shops selling them cheaper than they do.

Omega and Rolex are much cheaper in Malaysia for some reason. Me and missus been surveying the price when we went back for holidays and it was around 25-35% cheaper compared to UK. However these are from independent high street shop selling a variety of luxury watches, not direct from Omega or Rolex shop. I can only assume they get a good deal from Omega/Rolex and wanted to clear stock. Omega/Rolex shops are cheaper too but not as cheap, maybe 10-15%. With 25-35% saving on Omega/Rolex, that's nearly cost of flight tickets (Emirates). Hence something to consider --> holiday in the far east + new watch

Did you disconnect your battery when swapping them light bulbs? Something similar happened to me once, but mine was issue with heated seat, power windows and central locking. I suspect somehow them LED bulbs managed to short circuit the electronics systems. Try disconnect the battery for a few minutes and see if that solves it. For me previously, it only reset it for about 5-10 minutes then i went faulty again with same issues. I ended up going to Nissan dealership for a full electronic reset which solves the issue for good. Don't think there is a 'cheat code' that you can enter to your zed yourself to reset your electronics.
