  1. ^ what's that got to do with this thread ? Have I missed something?
  2. No I didn't mate .... Calipers there's not a lot in it , it's the discs that are crazy heavy .... If I were doing it again I'd go for the 2pc disc set up as they are meant to be a lot lighter . I reckon the new brakes set up added around 10-15 kg compared to standard brembo set up , but imo they are far better .
  3. Great bhp per tonne, take a look at the list linked, some proper machinery with that sort of figure That's the only way I can justify the cost of doing it all
  4. My akabono brakes are heavy and as mine is the stillen charger set up ( for HR and 70's ) it runs a rad filled with water . I guess the 3/4 of fuel would be around 40kg? Also running an extra 2 litres of oil inc a large oil cooler .... I was expecting 1700 to be honest ! That makes me 290 per tonne ..... Happy with that
  5. Probably more , as I have heavy wheels , heavy brakes and a heavy charger install Just got to weigh my zed with the above all fitted ....... Inc 3/4 tank of fuel , I was bang on 1600kg......which although being pretty heavy I'm pleased with considering what I've added . Only think I've taken out is the spare wheel .
  6. Didn't know that ....... Although I'm pretty retarded when it comes to computing !!
  7. Don't rub it in too much Wish ecutec would do it for the 50 !
  8. In the real world if cars have similar power and weight it's just going to be down to how much risk a person is willing to take . Imo you need at least 50-100 bhp more or be a lot lighter to pull away from someone else
  9. ......just needs a bgw and a oversized sticker on it to be part of the team
  10. Nice car mate and glad you're happy with it Not my cup of tea ... I preferred the older one , but you do get a lot of comforts with the one you have .
  11. As you know I'm running tein springs ( about 15-20mm drop ) and bilstein damper ... Really good set up for the road ...probably to soft for track .... But that's why I want to play with the arb settings to reduce the lean in the corner and initial turn in . I'm with in factory Alighnment settings with this setup , so no camber arms needed . .......I will await Adrian's comments about his coilovers .... Just not worth it for me
  12. 56p a litre !! Man that is so annoying . Looks an incredible place , would love to take my family out there one day .
  13. I've been thinking of playing with mine a ltitle so thanks for this I don't supose you know if there's a minimum drop you can go without changing camber arms etc or is it a must when lowering at all It's around the 20mm mark .... After that new arms are needed from all my readings .
  14. Thanks Alex for those useful links . I'm might just try to setting my front to the harder setting then to aid turn in and leave the back in the middle ....
  15. Alex ....in what way does it make it better/ worse for road use ? Also I'm on tein springs / bilstein dampers ..... Do you think I require adjustable links ? Cheers
  16. I have heard that on the hardest settings it's just to stiff for the road ..... But just wanted to actually know if anyone had tried / done it .
  17. Sorry rob but I'm not a fan of the colour Fair play for doing a decent job though !
  18. Very nice mate .... Really suit the colour and car . Good job
  19. Hi all , just wondered if anyone is running their arb on the hardest setting and if so how are they finding it ? Thanks
  20. I hope you know what your doing !! Next post ......... " knocking sound coming from the engine "
  21. That ...... Is ...... Awesome !!!!!
  22. Some very nice zeds there !! Great shots as well Matt .
