  2. Problem is everyone wants stuff for dirt cheap!! Purely as an example, you could have two early DE's being sold one at 5k and the other at 6.5k. The 5k car within the first 12 months will need 2.5k spending on it (and the potential buyer knows this) ie clutch, flywheel, tyres, brakes and exhaust. The car advertised for 6.5k has all these item replaced recently, so on that front nothing to worry about. Folks would still rather buy the 5k car and cheap out on the repairs or allow the items to become MOT failures going forward. BUY THE 6.5k CAR INSTEAD!!!!!! This is whats hurting the values imho, cheap A$$ people using poor man math.
  3. Yeah i know, hard to tell on the vid but almost every lap he was twitching (well we all were to be fair) so when it initially happend i thought nowt of it until he started to go right round!! I $HIT it lads and you can understand how relieved I was to have missed any contact, causing the joyous outburst soon after haha David
  4. Ive secured an allocated spot in the overspill carpark, its a shared car park (3/4 different companies) but better than nowt. Todays the first time ive drove the Zed to work, since the new a couple weeks ago lol The car park is on a rolling month contract with the land owners which isnt great, but is OK for now.
  5. Any review ideally should be unbiased
  6. ello n welkom, sorry to hear of your issues - you're in good hands.
  7. This month on CAP an 05 GT with circa 80k on clock is £7450 retail & £5000 trade as clean, £4600 as average condition.
  8. love the 458, not so much the 488 looks & sound wise for me
  9. Yes that'll do it. Another option to add to the above that I've done on a previous car is remove the plug and crack over. The excess fuel gets forced out the cylinders, refit plugs and you're good.
  10. Very different design language, for me the front is 918, side on is new NSX and rear is P1
  11. ^ looks a nightmare to even towel dry with all those vents, intakes & panels haha
  12. Also put this together, with a very near miss at 16:15.
  13. Few pictures of the motor from Pistonheads Sunday Service at Silverstone from the weekend. Conditions were just about as bad as they could be but still allow for the sessions to go ahead. Drove as fast as I dared and not a mph more!! Still very enjoyable as your senses are on maximum alert. Just happy to have came away unscathed. David
  14. Also why the move to 0w30 oil?
  15. ^ why would Nissan cover up a Honda? But even the mid spec UK Civic i think looks OTT The USDM Si 2 door i can deal with mind.

    New 911 GT3

I couldn't tell which was which at a glance for the last few models, maybe a good thing?
  17. Size of the silencers can have a direct affect on rasp, i think it sounds horrible like e46 M3's
  18. After it cut out it would be flooded yes, but what caused the engine to cut out initially is still unknown. When a flooded engine is started/got going, it'll stay running and not cut out by itself.
  19. You could machine polish them, purely just to take the edge off so they dont look as bad.
  20. Deep red one on track the weekend @ PH SS, nothing could live with it in the damp conditions!!
  21. Looks a mess The Nismo Pulsar looks much nicer imo
  22. I found the diff poly bushings to be a good upgrade for the drive of the car. Great work on the exhaust, looks fresh again!!
