  1. Right then 'driving gods' who's up for Daytona Tamworth next month? Plan would be to either meet up there on the day or to pre meet at Melbicks 11am and look to leave/convoy over to Tamworth at 12noon. Zed meet, short 35 mins drive out and karting in one https://www.daytona.co.uk/venues/tamworth/ https://www.daytona.co.uk/booking-system/tamworth-booking/ Its an Open Sprint race for competitors we'd be looking to tag on to. 12. Bummer dude, nice one for the update. Weather report, looking good and pre destination checkpoint details before for the run out.
  13. I agree, but were on about a weekly wash. All I wash saying is to most folks that don't have a DI filter like the OP, to try and dry a car after only pre wash is suicide imo. You know when you spot another car on the road that's just had a £4 special with missed bits from a the wash. That's small areas that were missed by the wash mitt or sponge. To then run a drying towel over that....... *shakes head.
  14. A proper wash includes pre wash, takes minimal effort to apply and rinse a TFR product. DI filter ftw, however the car will still be dirty.....
  15. My point was a pre wash doesn't yield clean paintwork.
  16. Given the choice between x1 BAL bucket wash with grit guard, compared to snow foam, pressure wash and then dry. All day long would it be option 1, I'd never consider touching the paintwork with a drying towel after the pre wash stage.
  17. Thats cool, folks can go to the cafe there for snacks until 12 also. I always find time flies at meets when chatting away. I'll be there of course from 9:30am, but any time after is sound
  18. Save you're back and drop to a single BAL bucket with grit gaurd, these hold so much more water the dirty stuff stays at the bottom. Ive used these for years and years and had no issues. PS always final rinse with an open hose to sheet the water away, makes drying a doddle. https://www.toppstiles.co.uk/tprod8768/bal-mixing-bucket-225ltr.html
  19. I find it takes no more effort to run a mitt over the car compared to a drying towel? Ultimately to have to touch everywhere with both tasks....... Bring a chair out and place the bucket on that to save bending down to it each time. For sections of the car below the waistline, squat with a straight back is best practice regardless. Just trying to give tips given me, as my little brother details for a living.
  20. You planning rear spoiler also? CS rear bumper needs a wing I feel to flow......
  21. Snow lance FTW!! When the neighbours are looking, Snow it up and go out to it with a Bic
