The actions the UK are taking compared to the other European countries. Feels like the start of a race, all the other teams are on full wets with the Monaco rear wing and we're the only team on slicks with the Monza wing......... and its pissing it down

Government are giving mixed messages to which doesn't fill the public with confidence in the measures they are taking. It was so vague about non essential contact and the matter around pubs, bars and restaurants etc. Suggesting not to visit these establishments, but not shutting down preventing them from claiming on the insurance for forced closure. However uni's and colleagues sill operate as normal, ie potential spread and social contact in abundance. On a brighter note, living not far from Birmingham airport the lack of noise pollution has been very well received.

Reading the stats of how many people sadly die year on year from influenza in the UK, US China etc is shocking in itself to which this is never reported on in the media. Start reporting on it heavily, give the virus a scary name and it not hard to cause panic for something that on the whole already exists. I believe this to an experiment to understand how the deployment of information controls the masses, being the prelude to the actual plan.

The thread was always going to be more about polish than power with me as an owner Upon going to view the car, straight away could tell it was a clean car so really the upkeep has been routine stuff thankfully. The owner before me had bee over servicing it with the replacement if items, which was my gain. The DE has so much scope for engine dressing up which is great. the more modern stuff as you knowing being plastic fantastic are so bland in comparison - Bring back chucky HT leads ay. This was my Almera GTi engine bay and it was my daily driver.

Was a great buy and after the confusion worked out well. Need that confidence back when going for an upshift in anger!!
