  1. Cheers fella, agreed!! Car meets and shows just wont be happening for the next few months, so when we're back to normality the next Mids Meet will be a BIG one!! a celebration if you will
  2. The actions the UK are taking compared to the other European countries. Feels like the start of a race, all the other teams are on full wets with the Monaco rear wing and we're the only team on slicks with the Monza wing......... and its pissing it down
  3. Government are giving mixed messages to which doesn't fill the public with confidence in the measures they are taking. It was so vague about non essential contact and the matter around pubs, bars and restaurants etc. Suggesting not to visit these establishments, but not shutting down preventing them from claiming on the insurance for forced closure. However uni's and colleagues sill operate as normal, ie potential spread and social contact in abundance. On a brighter note, living not far from Birmingham airport the lack of noise pollution has been very well received.
  4. All non essential contact, literally had our mids meet at the eleventh hour
  5. I would say a stonking deal as you've paid a massive chuck less than trade for it. Can I come and pick you up when going to view my next car please. Ello n welkom
  6. Reading the stats of how many people sadly die year on year from influenza in the UK, US China etc is shocking in itself to which this is never reported on in the media. Start reporting on it heavily, give the virus a scary name and it not hard to cause panic for something that on the whole already exists. I believe this to an experiment to understand how the deployment of information controls the masses, being the prelude to the actual plan.
  7. Brooo, I seen the way you drave.... You got a heavy foot.
  8. Thank you ALL again for coming!! Stay tuned for the next one when the weather picks up and pending a nationwide lock down.
  9. Hope everyone enjoyed the breakfast meet and drive out, thank you again for coming. Very much touch and go considering what's happening at the minute sadly, so 15 cars was amazing!! *x14 Zeds & x1 5 Series. Only I could arrange a meet at the start of a national pandemic, plus it rained pretty much non stop yay. Hope all got home safe
  10. Snap, mine needs a wash however I'll clean mine tomorrow evening.
  11. Looks like carbon fibre effect at a glance, I like that. Do you have to machine polish in the road?
  12. Looks really smart and great you're keeping it!!
  13. I would advise to top up with the same grade oil as the last oil change, However, some oil is better than no oil.
  14. I'm sure there would be something available on the day, cardboard or something similar lol
  15. Food order confirmed with Leanne at the café, booking for 9:30am and any changes il let them know.
  16. I personally view the extra paid on road tax for a 370z worth it, for a RevUp or HR not worth it compared to a DE. I refuse to pay more in road tax than insurance. All the best with the 350z car search, plenty out there to choose from.
  17. First action, carry out a pad break in procedure
  18. Cheers Lewis, thank you!! The thread was always going to be more about polish than power with me as an owner Upon going to view the car, straight away could tell it was a clean car so really the upkeep has been routine stuff thankfully. The owner before me had bee over servicing it with the replacement if items, which was my gain. The DE has so much scope for engine dressing up which is great. the more modern stuff as you knowing being plastic fantastic are so bland in comparison - Bring back chucky HT leads ay. This was my Almera GTi engine bay and it was my daily driver.
  19. Was a great buy and after the confusion worked out well. Need that confidence back when going for an upshift in anger!!
  20. More than the updates I know that every hour spent on the car detailing, you'll be taking a visit to satisfaction city. It's getting to know the new car in detail and making it your own. For me you can get in a car and drive it all day long, but it's not yours until you actually go through it in the fashion above - LOVE IT!! Wheels looks unreal on silver too pal
  21. I understand the thinking and that would be similar to the ARC catch cans. I would prefer to keep the low and high sides of the system separate as Nissan intended. At wide open throttle the vacuum in the intake becomes atmospheric and shuts the PCV off. Combining the low/high sides could result in excessive oil draw at idle, feeding off both ports.
  22. Be sure you're not looking at a boosted setup. The n/a OE set up is a closed system utilising the engines vacuum to draw out the oil vapour re burning it. The catch can plumbs into this closed system catching the oil vapour, therefore venting to atmosphere doesn't draw out the crankcase pressure nearly as good as a closed vacuum set up. Same principle for our VQ35's using a 2 port unit.
