I was think that but wilo did post this... Lower link or control arm?! ..not sure what it's called other than maybe one of those two names. Part number 11 below I think is what the mechanic is referring to.

Try Alex or one of the Zed shed crew for a definitive answer hopefully. Link to Buster: http://www.350z-uk.com/user/11228-buster/
  3. I actually prefer the spoiler-less look tbh, ...at least I do on your black Zed. Just looks right.
  4. Guide here: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/103472-how-to-add-your-photos-to-the-forum/ Hope that helps.

You're welcome wilo and good luck.
  6. That's good news that you had fun & that even though it went into "limp" mode at one point it didn't spoil the day for you. Loved driving my Zed in anger and definitely agree with you that they corner lovely. I'm sure some of that is down in part to the weight of the Zed. Look forward to seeing some more pics if you get any of the Zed on track.

Moved the thread here wilo to see if you get more interest. Zeus recommendations is what I would have said but also Emperor Tuning for used items.

Moved from the "350Z general" area to "other cars" but I'm guessing you got that now. Don't know anything about the Qashqai sorry btw but Google brought up these guides/info.... http://www.driving.co.uk/car-reviews/nissan-qashqai-review-2007-2013/ https://www.carkeys.co.uk/guides/a-buyer%E2%80%99s-guide-to-the-nissan-qashqai http://www.ebay.co.uk/gds/6-Tips-on-Buying-a-Nissan-Qashqai-/10000000177989455/g.html
  9. ^^ Those look great Scott. Going to look even better on the Zed though.

I was just going to say that, ...nothing wrong with OCD. It's a blessing when you're a petrol head & like detailing your car. Topic moved snoged.
  11. Just noticed you are in south Wales, did you ever take your zed round Llandow? No I didn't. Haven't been there in years. Bit of a small uneven circuit from what I remember (probably different now/resurfaced). Still more like a large go kart track imo than a circuit but I know it can be a lot of fun as any track can be. Should really make use of it with it being so close but just haven't. Edit: Took my S/c Zed on Combe though, ...got footage here:
  12. That's good then as at least you're not a total newbie to Combe then. I love Castle Combe and have been going there since the early 90's when I used to go to race days with my old man and then started doing track days there once I'd learnt to drive. Most dangerous part is Avon Rise as if you get that wrong, go in too fast, brake on the brow of the rise etc it can send your car spearing off towards the barriers at Quarry for a high speed impact as there is little to no run off. I've seen so many accidents there it is unreal. Get some video if you can but if not just have fun & report back how it went. Hope you have dry weather.
  13. Have you been on Combe before? Not a lot of run off with grass on all the corners so best take it easy till you get the feel for the Zed as it's your first outing on track in it.
  14. That's one thing that I would say would help... Info here: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/58211-removing-boot-couter-weight-guide/ Could also try the "penny trick"... Info here: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/35706-the-penny-trick/ Something else to try. Boot pop fix: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/69917-how-to-boot-pop-fix/
  15. Full exhaust system as from what I hear the standard system is rather lacking then possibly some HFC's to go with it and a decent set of panel filters. I could go on but that's there for starters.
  16. Sounds pretty good, ...definitely need those pics though rasco.
  17. Good to see you've finally found the Zed for you ~ Welcome aboard.
  18. Not sure how their prices compare but I know "Game" sell used phones. Link: http://www.game.co.uk/en/tablets-and-devices/mobile/?merchname=HomeHeader-_-tech-_-phones I always see loads of them for sale at my local "Game" and obviously you'll have more of a come back buying from there than from eBay random sellers.
  19. Yep he was lucky to "wriggle" out of that one considering.
  20. Mine was on 90K plus when I supercharged it. Will definitely be on over 100K miles now with the standard clutch & flywheel still as well, ...if the new owner hasn't changed them that is or stacked it.
  21. Going to have to watch this on +1, ....bl**dy Sky box broke my series link again. Grrhhh. Cheers for the heads up BBK.
  22. Just going to put this out there ~ You can only really say that though if you had the car put on the dyno & tested firstly in standard form, ....then proceed to fit the aftermarket parts and re-test the power of the car on the dyno under the same conditions as before (E.g: same ambient temperatures, same day, same tyre pressures etc etc). Also a car manufacturer may say on paper that their car has 276Bhp as new from the factory but the truth could be it's got more power as standard (used to be fairly common with Japanese cars from the 90's) or even less power. Plus each dyno make will give different readouts as well as the same dyno make giving different readouts for the same car on different days. Again coming down to so many different variables. Oh and just to put this in the mix as well, tests have shown that a car running on new engine oil as appose to 12 months or older engine oil will show an increase in Bhp.
