Jeeze that looks a pig of a job to do. Fair play for attempting it yourself and it does look pretty good from here.

If it is a clear liquid then it is most likely just water from the A/c which is perfectly normal. Some info/picture here: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/102287-what-is-this-leak-under-car/

I'm still surprised that's for sale still, ...cracking motor.

That's not good then. Could be a genuine reason though like he's ill or he hasn't got your message as his inbox is full or something. Let us know if you still have problems getting in contact with him or getting a response. Good luck.

You will not get any Audi RS4 for anywhere near £6K sorry to disappoint you brillo. You're talking a £10K-£13K car all day long and that's the higher mileage examples (90-100K plus miles). I spent a lot of time looking at those before buying my S3 and they do hold there value well so no bargains to be had. You're right though that you can get in the S4 for that sort of money. Still a nice 4.2Ltr V8 with Quattro drive train but unfortunately just a little bit slower than the RS version. What about a Honda Integra Type R DC5? Yes a high mileage example but cracking motors these by all accounts: http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201603081771613?search-target=usedcars&make=honda&model=integra&price-to=6000&zero-to-60=fast&maximum-seats=5&page=1&sort=default&radius=1500&postcode=cf832nq&searchcontext=default&onesearchad=new%2Cnearlynew%2Cused&logcode=p&adPos=3

^^ Ooohh very nice. GLWTS. -
I think the only place you're going to find one is from Grundy@TeamTarmac: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/109209-teamtarmac-next-new-item-pictures-pg18/ Not sure any used ones will be popping up anytime soon as they've only just started getting them sorted (well her in the UK anyway) but I guess it can't hurt to ask. Good luck.

Thick as thieves ...... Or just Thick Thieves
GMballistic replied to d95gas's topic in Off Topic Discussion
Lets hope they have the kettle on ready for them bright & early. I reiterate Zeus's comment above, ...chop the thieving scum bags hands off. -
There are plenty interested, I have a set and I'm still interested True ~ they won't even fit my car and I'm interested! These alloys would look great on any car.

It's always difficult with exhausts as everyone has their own idea of what sounds good plus things sound different to each of us so even if someone else says: "you'll love my exhaust it sounds deep & just what you want, you should get one". The truth is it might not be what you want at all. Maybe leave it awhile to see if it grows on you and then consider your options in a few months time.

Yep what ZEUS said imo. A new locking wheel nut set can cost as little as £10 so not a lot really. Give MITZ@CougarStore a try.

If Alex can't help then give Emperor Tuning a try.

In that case and if you're not happy I'd say bide your time, start listening to some other Zeds exhausts before ultimately getting yourself a new system. You'll easily (imo) be able to sell yours on to recoup some of the cost and you'll be a lot happier once you find one that makes the noise you want. Personally I've always loved the way the Motordyne system sounds....

Anyone else think this looks gorgeous???
GMballistic replied to The Bounty Bar Kid's topic in Other Cars
Same here. I wouldn't say it looks "gorgeous" BBK but it's definitely a good looking car. The back end for me especially works well. -
Yeah I'm learning that. Yesterday I had 6 rounds for my hunting rifle, 12 for my revolver & maybe 15 for my handgun, ...pi**ed through most of that extremely quickly in one fire fight with some soldiers so now only have 6 rounds left for my revolver. That's why I'm trying to be stealthy now. Because I have no ammo!
-
Yes 355 can fit under 18" not all models of wheels. I have copy of Volks Japan Racin JR3 and they can accommodate BBK All comes down to the alloy wheel spoke design I'd say. Some will fit, some won't as you say.

See I missed it on the PS3 so didn't really get what it meant by "remastered" at first as just thought it was part of the title but now it makes sense. I'm literally a few hours in now and I'm really gripped. Love playing the game as stealthily as I can tbh but I'm slowly starting to upgrade my weapons which is definitely helping when I do have to go loud although lack of ammo is an issue. Such a PITA having to work when I'd much rather be playing that game. You won't regret giving it a go marzman, ...sooner the better.
-
Not always easy to find such bargains here in the UK either but could be worth seeing what Nic (nissanman312) below knows about getting a used BBK for you. Sounds good Nic.

Would love a ride in any of those Zeds so yes I'll give you a heads up if I'm ever heading your way. Brakes I did run my 436Bhp supercharged Zed on track with only a little better than the standard brakes set up, ...I used EBC Turbo Groove discs (standard OEM size), Ferodo DS2500 pads, Goodridge s/s braided brake lines with Motul RBF600 brake fluid. This set up worked well enough for a short stint but anymore than 5 laps or so and I'd have started to lose the brakes imo I'm sure. Although obviously your car doesn't weigh more than a standard Zed it does go a lot faster now (as did mine). The problem with that though is that when you're on track you'll be going a lot faster than any standard Zed in a much shorter space meaning that a corner a standard Zed might approach at 60mph you could be doing more like double that speed. This means that you'll realistically need to start braking a lot earlier for corners than a standard Zed if you're still running standard or near standard brakes. Personally I didn't get a BBK but only because I ran out of funds to get it done when I had my car supercharged. It was on my to do list though should I have kept the car for longer. Is it worth getting? Tbh in your case I'd say 100% yes especially as I think you're going to be keeping your Zed for the long haul and you enjoy driving it hard (as it should be ). Just think of it as an investment in "not crashing". A big brake kit new or used is a lot of money but definitely cheaper than repairing your Zed should you run out of braking space on the track or road. Maybe try zmanalex to see if he has a used BBK you can get cheaply? Probably not but just an idea. Link: http://www.350z-uk.com/user/9648-zmanalex/ Interested to see what you decide but at the end of the day it is your money, your car & your decision so it's all good whichever way you go as long as you're happy.
