  1. That's a good list ~ don't look at the other members build threads though or that list will double.
  2. Did you not wear a mask you naughty boy Should always wear a mask grundy. I bought a cheap one with replaceable filters from eBay and it was only a tenner odd.
  3. I'll try, it is a 2 hand job A tripod and camera with a timer could help with that problem, ...or you could get someone else to take the pictures for you. If you are really worried though about dropping the bolts in your door you could try this little trick I use ~ just sellotape the bolt/screw to your driver so it can't fall off but once it's tightened up to the handle you'll easily be able to pull the tape off.
  4. Very sad to read that two people lost their lives but at least the families may have some answers now to how they lost their loved ones. RIP
  5. The only thing I have heard of similar to this is a 32 point inspection ~ not a service. Do you have any history/bills/receipts with your car? What year is it? mileage? If you look at the service guide on here it will give you an idea of what should have been done to your car by now depending on age/miles. For example spark plugs should be changed at 54,000miles or every 5 years.
  6. It had only been out on the road once, on trade plates a couple of days before I bought it and it was bone dry. The only slight downside was that there were a couple of minor marks inside the car where people had been getting in and out but I did get a big discount. There are 2 schools of thought on why it ended up registered in a showroom...firstly the Nissan dealer needed to purchase this car to keep their sales figures up, or it was a cancelled order as the facelift was about to come out...I asked the salesman but he didn't know. Pete Still great to own any car from almost brand new I'd imagine.
  7. that bits not too bad, it's getting the bolts back in without dropping them down inside the door, especially the one for the lock assembly Oh god don't say that ....so what happens if the bolt does fall because thats going to happen to me! If that happens my guess would be you'd need to take the entire door card off to get the bolt.
  8. Make sure you get some good pictures if you can grundy225 of when you put the door handles back on. Would like to see how it goes back together.
  9. I can see it ~ works great.
  10. It's hard to resist all the great parts you can buy for the Zed Paul ~ in fact so hard there is even a medical term for it; "Zeditus". You've probably contracted it already sorry.
  11. Good news, sort of. Fingers crossed for you that the premium goes down for next year. Much better car than a Hyundai though.
  12. ^ Very nice Pete. I'd like to see an underneath picture of the Zed, you know, before the rust & debris have taken hold ~ bet yours looked clean underneath back then with only 40 odd miles under it's belt.
  13. Welcome Rich ~ interesting history you have and I'm sure you'll be an asset to the forum.
  14. Think the plenum spacers all do pretty much the exact same job. I'm getting the Horsham Developments plenum spacer as it's £159 odd at the moment instead of the £180 odd that a Motordyne one costs.
  15. ^^ Very nice. Great improvement Lyndzzz.
  16. Wasn't Tarmac Sportz Chris looking for a cheap 350Z or was it one of the other traders? Not sure I'd touch it though either way.
  17. +1. Bet that trip to Vegas was the best holiday ever.
  18. Very easy. Just held on by plastic pop rivets as far as I remember. Yeah, there are 4 per side. Just pop 'em up and lift it off. I'll have a look in the morning, are these the types that you use a flat head to pop up? I usually end up snapping these And I don't want to do that this time. Yes a flat head screw driver should do the job but more than likely at least one will break. You can buy them on eBay easily enough though and dead cheap (I paid £3 odd for 10 including P&P last time I needed some).
  19. Very easy. Just held on by plastic pop rivets as far as I remember.
  20. Halfords bulb book in store stated that my rear stop & tail lights where 380 bulbs ~ I ordered said bulbs in LED format from eBay and much to my annoyance found them to be incorrect. Lesson is; F**k Halfords. Rear stop & tail bulbs are dual filament T20's (aka 7443) Rear indicators are T20 bulbs So it wouldn't surprise me if the rear fog light & reverse light are also T20 bulbs. Can't confirm it 100% as I haven't changed those yet. Cs2000 would know for definite I'm sure as he does bulb kits for our Zeds.
