  1. Is she your "Mrs" really or just "girlfriend" andy james? If the latter you need to put a ring on it and marry her tomorrow!! Great gift.
  2. I remember coldell posted an almost identical video to this of a VX220 doing the same thing. Overtaking, foot down, ar*e out & crash. *End scene*
  3. Crap. Been to Tenby before and never seen it like that.
  4. That's a tough question! Probably the exhaust & de-cats (test pipes) for the best bang/per $. Weight reduction is always good too but I like my creature comforts too much to lose anything from the Zeds interior. My car's the older DE engine model (so it is different from your HR) but I know mine will benefit from a plenum spacer which is a reasonable gain per £/$ but yours is different so unsure. Maybe start a thread asking the question to see if other HR engine Zed owners can give you some better ideas from their experience.
  5. Great news Keiran ~ nice for you to know the exact number of your GT4.
  6. They are fantastic cars ~ definitely on my car wish list.
  7. Well done for giving up especially going cold turkey. I know that wouldn't work for me so I am pleased that I've started on the E-cigs and haven't had a real cigarette for over 2 weeks now. Saving me money & it's better than real cigarettes with Tar etc obviously but it's also slowly drawing me away from tobacco completely. Using a low nicotine content E-liquid at the moment so with time hope to go to a non nicotine liquid. Nicotine's a hard addiction to beat though but hopefully I'll do it one day.
  8. Wow, ...just seriously WOW!! Note to self: must sell everything to buy a Supercharger for my Zed.
  9. Great pics ~ I've owned three out of the four car's pictured. Just need to get a 500bhp GTR after the Zed and I've had the set.
  10. It was a good turbo timer though as once it was turned on it would shut the car engine down & immobilize the engine if you tried to put the car in gear or lowered the handbrake. That's why I felt safe walking away from the car but still I wouldn't tempt fate and leave it running, unoccupied in certain places.
  11. ^^ +1 To what richmillions said. It was in a thread where the guy thought he had Tan seats which had been dyed black but in fact they hadn't. With regards to the wrap ~ love it.
  12. Variable voltage definitely helps imo. I was recommended it by a friend before I bought my starter kit so that's all I've used but I did try his non-variable voltage E-cig before starting & I wasn't impressed. With the variable voltage it's better as you can turn up the voltage for more vapour/taste depending on the coil ohm you're running or E-liquid you're using. @HaydnH ~ Nice atomizer for sure but it should be for that amount of money. My Mini pro-tank II was only £13 ~ now I feel cheap.
  13. ^^ Yeah it was a pain tbh but pretty essential for safe guarding the modified engine/turbo. I had a turbo timer so I used that most of the time for the cool down which was good because I could lock the car with the engine running and just walk away (once the timer finished the engine would shut off & immobilize). Freaked people out though as often when I looked back at my car I could see people looking at it like who's the idiot that's just left his Subaru running ready for someone to steal.
  14. Exactly! ...And why didn't Hammond get the GSi Nova!? Surely they could have got one of those instead of the SRi.
  15. I'd get the 2.5ohm coils if you can ddcboyle as they work well for me. Are you using a variable voltage battery btw? From what I've learnt/read there is a suitable voltage to different ohms resistance. E.g RESISTANCE (ohms) VOLTAGE 1.7-1.9/ 3.1-3.3 2.1-2.3/ 3.4-4.2 2.4-2.6/ 4.3-4.7 2.6-3.0/ 4.8-5.0 Take a look at; www.ohmslawcalculator.com for a more precise calculation. Basically lower ohms = Runs hotter producing a warmer vapour Creates more vapour Produces more throat hit Affects the flavour produced ~ by producing more or by diminishing it depending on the flavour Drains your battery faster Will go through E-liquid a little faster Higher ohms = Runs a bit cooler producing a cooler vapour Creates less vapour Produces a cooler vape with less throat hit Affects the flavour produced ~ either amplifying or diminishing it depending on the flavour Allows your battery to last longer between charges Will use less E-liquid Also if the volts are too low you will get insufficient vapour. That's why I bought a variable voltage battery unit so that I can turn it up to get more vape. Hope that helps.
  16. If you do get the EML come on at all you can always do the "pedal dance" ~ you can find out how to do this in the guides section it's basically an ECU reset which cancels out the light. The re-map is about £400 here but it is worth it to unlock the potential of any mods done to the car. Have you looked at "Tarmac Sportz" website? lot's of great stuff for our Zeds on there just to give you ideas.
  17. ^^ That was a long one. I see no harm in 30 seconds or so as it probably takes me that long to put my belt on, adjust the stereo etc I just wouldn't do it for 2-5 minutes that's all. Each to there own though. Used to sit and warm up one of my old cars, a JDM import Impreza WRX but that was more essential with it's turbo'd engine. Also had to sit and let it cool down after a drive. Tbh I found it a nuisance.
  18. I believe most de-cats (test pipes) will throw up the EML light but I've found my Berks HFC's do to occasionally. It's because of the darn O2 exhaust sensors. This can be resolved by a re-map though which will greatly improve the car even with minimal mods. Also from what I've read the standard ECU actually restricts the throttle response in relation to how hard you press the pedal through 1st-3rd gears. This can be altered to a 1:1 ratio during a re-map making the car more lively. Next step after exhaust/cats would be air induction if you haven't already then a re-map. You won't see any gains really though without a re-map.
  19. I'm finding the mini Pro-tank II much better than my T3S that I began with ~ gives a much smoother draw on the vape but I would like a bit more in the way of capacity. 1.5ml Doesn't last long. What do you like about the Kayfun? Is it a bottom coil atomizer?
