  1. When I bought my import Impreza WRX a mate of mine who had owned his import Impreza for years did warn me that when buying an import (performance car) you'd better have the money for an engine rebuild. I didn't believe him but unfortunately he was right. Engine let go after just one month of owning the car. Unfortunately with an almost totally unknown history from a foreign country it is very hard to gauge whether or not it's a good, well maintained vehicle. Even if all looks good on the outside you just never know what it's like inside the engine. At least you have a dyno report stating that it's giving good power so hopefully in some respect that's a good sign even if the mileage is questionable.
  2. It's the ebay special Gia Cuzzo, took a bit of fitting according to my man, but he's done a top job. I have thought about coding the diffuser but it's such a nice piece of carbon that I just don't want to hide it under paint. Definitely agree. I'd leave it as is otherwise what's the point in having the nice carbon fibre one? ..you may as well just have a cheaper FRP version if you where going to paint it.
  3. A lot of members have upgraded their sound systems and subs. Here's just one of them I know of; http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/82012-zubys-zed/ I might do it one day but for now I'm all about the performance upgrades, anyway I'm deaf enough without making the Bose system any louder with my Pioneer head unit.
  4. When I had an old Golf VR6 the previous owner had replaced the speedo clocks at 75K miles odd after they failed and replaced them with a second hand set stating 54K miles odd. When I bought the car the dealer was honest and told me about the mileage but when I next got the car MOT'd the tester had entered the mileage at 56K miles odd which was wrong obviously as it should have been 77K miles odd but it still stated 56K miles odd on the MOT. That was a while ago now though so I would imagine nowadays that something would flag up on the system but it does happen.
  5. What a pr*ck! The Ocado delivery driver not you btw.
  6. When you do get your results you can post them in the dyno results thread if you like. http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/23450-dyno-results-info-thread/page__st__80#entry1223190 It's a good way to compare results but tbh with the UpRev it's all about the drive ability afterwards and knowing your Zeds mapped properly for the mods you've got.
  7. I'll try and get some pics up tomorrow Ambassador with these HR bonnets you are really tempting me...
  8. Sounds great looking forward to meeting jez and seeing what we can get from my 370 all these positive reviews Im seeing fill me with joy lol :-D Just don't bother cleaning the Zed before you go up. It's up a farm track. But don't let that put you off as they have all the kit up there, lot's of parts in stock, great knowledge, great customer service and I will definitely be using them again in the future. Sounds exactly the same as the place it's at today for a service and rear spacers middle of nowhere down a million and one country lanes!! That's actually a pretty accurate description of where Horsham Developments is. My 350Z never felt so wide as when I was driving down the lanes to them in Chievely. As I left my Zed with H.Dev to do the work my father had to come with me to take me home and he said when we arrived; "You don't half pick em'" Definitely worth it though and I'd rather leave my Zed in their safe hands than some of these other garages that haven't a clue.
  9. Just read the full story, ...what a nightmare and don't beat yourself up as it sounds like it could have caught anyone out. Just good news that neither you or the other driver was hurt.

  11. Sorry to hear that Squee. Any more info you'd like to share about what happened? your fault or did someone else cause the mishap? Either way glad your still here & in one piece to talk about it.
  12. Interesting choice of phrasing there.....hahaha
  13. Bummed out now as I thought you'd found love on the forum. Misleading title Arran.
  14. I was wondering if you'd ever get around to doing one of these threads zubairhussain123 after all your hard work on the Zed. Good to read and look forward to your progress updates along the way.
  15. Ain't OCD great?! I always try to get all my bolt heads lined up inline when I fit things to my car. How messed up is that?!! Looks great Dunks ~ just needs sunshine to look at it's best as Will said.
  16. Welcome aboard Scott. You won't be disappointed with Horsham Developments as the service I received just last week from them was fantastic and I'm very pleased with the UpRev they did on my 350Z. Hope you get the numbers you're hoping for.
  17. Welcome aboard. Is there an award for longest "lurker" on the forum Mod's?, ...as I reckon this guy will win it.
  18. So you could say the Zed definitely attracted at least one woman. You.
  19. They're pretty much no good for anything imo. Couldn't fit my CD case in them or my first aid kit. Both of mine are empty currently as they won't even take the Zeds owners manual. I thought he meant those as he did say storage bins. The other thing is surely a large glove box.
