  1. Just read this. Glad you got it sold sort of but gutted you had too. Hope you find another motor you love & have good health.
  2. Really?! That's great news. Enjoy it.
  3. Ahh that's cool. No rush just wondered if it had co**ed up when sending or something. Enjoy your break and reply next week when you've more time is fine.
  4. Looking awesome and loving all the pictures of the work in progress. One thing ~ shouldn't this be in the "members build threads" rather than the "general 350Z area". Either way.
  5. I think it's looks really great and I'd probably be one of those people fooled into thinking it's paint on first inspection.
  6. It is cheap, but cheap doesn't always mean it's a good thing. Hopefully someone who's used one can shed some light on the subject. On another note: Sent you a PM the other day.
  7. Firstly what an excellently written build thread Madmarky with some great photos. Really hard to believe all the grief you've been through with getting the Zed to look like how you want it and I'm honestly surprised that you carried on given all the hassle with the first bodyshop & it's owner. Well done. Keep it up.
  8. Definitely agree. Also a good time to fit aftermarket exhaust manifolds if your modifying things like that ~ much easier to fit them with the gearbox off from what I've read.
  9. The company and part is in the UK already though so what you see is what you pay. Company location: Japan Import Car ltd Unit B Newbiggin home farm Hexham Northumberland NE46 1SZ United Kingdom
  10. Should work great. Mine is a 1litre bottle too and I used an inch of snow foam (maybe 5 cap fulls) in my bottle, then filled with warm water leaving a gap at the top of an inch or so. I had more than enough to do the entire car and probably could have done at least half the car again with what was left in the bottle.
  11. Welcome aboard Sam. Zed look's great and you don't often see them in red. Golf looks pretty mint too.

  13. ^^ What he said. Best to wait till your primer is 100% dry before trying to sand it otherwise it will just start coming off in clumps where it's still wet. If your using wet & dry sand paper then just put a small amount of washing up liquid in a pot with some warm water and use that to dip your sand paper into. The water just helps stop the paper clogging up so quickly but I always find I get a better finish using wet paper than dry.
  14. That's after about 2 minutes I think. I was expecting it to be thicker so maybe I didn't use enough foam fluid and too much water. I'll try more next time Thanks anyway Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Just posted in your members build. I'd say don't put too much water in the bottle with the snow foam. If your bottle holds say 600ml to the brim then use 100ml of snow foam, 400ml of warm water and leave a 100ml gap. When I did mine the other day at one point I turned the concentration up using the dial and it was going on like shaving foam. Didn't want to use my razor on the Zed so weakened the mix ratio a bit using the dial.
  15. Yeah used about an inch in the supplied bottle and then filled to top with water. Maybe more is needed next time then thanks Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Or just use a little less water. I leave a gap at the top of my bottle every time rather than fill it to the brim with water. Zed looks great btw Stu.
  16. ^^ Not too shabby Stu_2424, ...although it does look like you've got more on the road/driveway than the car. I'm assuming that's after a few mins though and some of it has just run off.
  17. Wheels?! Don't tempt me Could be a bit F&F looking I'll grant you that but some Zeds can pull it off.
  18. ^^ Very nice. Bet it's difficult though to keep a white one looking clean.
  19. Came up for Cadburys purple coloured car. What about this purple then? Personally I'm pretty happy with the Gun Metal colour of my Zed so doubtful I would ever change it even if funds allowed. Although when I was looking for a Zed, black was my first choice.
  20. Uh oh, ...look who's beaten the 350Z to it again!! :scare:
  21. Thanks SuperStu I was very pleased with the way the snow foam gun performed. Imo (& ilogikal1's ) the gun is the problem so change to the one I have or similar and you should see much better results from any snow foam brand you choose to use. Oh and I don't put shampoo in with the snow foam no as I always do a two bucket shampoo wash after using the snow foam. It's on my list. That one is around £10 a litre so not to dear but still a premium snow foam by the looks of it. Really want to try them all now Will so I might have to put names into a hat to help me decide when the Demon snow foam runs out.
  22. Lot's of love for her rear end in this thread ~ double entendre's?
