  1. Good luck and hope the remap goes well and sorts it all out. I have a feeling it will.
  2. You don't have to go, plenty still hang about like Ekona & SMD etc.
  3. ...and an error code/EML light on. Which is what happened on mine when one went.
  4. I don't think it's Adrians Oooh. Hope he get's it back and good for you for helping a fellow petrol head out.
  5. Sorry to read that octet. Thieving scum bags. It's got some unique"ish" mods so hopefully will be found quickly as it's fairly distinctive. Good luck and if I see it down Cardiff way I'll be sure to ring the old bill, ...about 5 minutes after I've finished beating the thieves with a tyre lever.
  6. What's stopping you GM..?? Too much going on in May already. MOT, Tax, possibly having the Fr bumper sprayed on the Zed maybe going to Japfest etc.
  7. Thanks but think I'll stick with the Zed.
  8. Look's great. Wish I could be there.
  9. ^^ Very nice. It's actually a shame the Rays alloy hides so much of them.
  10. Gorgeous colour Zed. Don't see too many like that. Welcome aboard.
  11. Must be a common Renault trend. I remember doing a 3 point turn in the driveway once at my folks house and the steering wheel on my renault 5 sheered clean off. Half left on the splines other half in my hands. Was really glad i wasnt out on the road doing 60mph. Good ol' Renault. Wonder why I haven't seen a 5 in over a decade?
  12. I know how you feel. This isn't my first car by a long shot nor my first "car love" but I've never cleaned a car so often or spent so much on detailing products. I used to wash all of my previous cars loads when I had them but was doing it all wrong ~ one bucket and a hose!! Not to mention a sponge. Stumbled across the "detailing" section on here, met a few knowledgeable forum members and have since spent at least a months wages on various products, snow foam gun, new drying cloth's, polishes, waxes etc etc Not to mention binned my T-Cut which I'd had for over 5 years.
  13. I can tell you it'll fit if you like but I may be wrong. Better safe than sorry ~ just wait and see what reply you get.
  14. Not me but my mate had a really scary experience. He decided to change the steering wheel in his Clio for a nice after market wheel. Did all the work himself and I could tell he was pleased with his efforts. Couple of days later he tells me how he almost died the other day. Driving a local sweeping hill section and giving the renault some welly the bl**dy steering wheel came off in his hands. Driving at 60mph+ he had to try and shove it back on to the steering wheel splines. Ended up going back on luckily and he managed to stop safely but that was the end of him ever doing anything on his car again bar changing a bulb.
  15. You really are best off contacting the seller of that snow foam gun as they should have adaptors to suit. Just tell them which pressure jet washer you have bought. Alternatively tell them you have bought the wrong one, return it in exchange for the correct one. You will then have to pay postage to them (& maybe back) but it will be cheaper than an adaptor more than likely.
  16. I'd be looking forward to driving my new motor tomorrow more. Welcome aboard.
  17. You can buy the correct adapter for a Nilfisk to fit if you bought one that fits a Karcher. How does this one look? It's an adaptor I found on eBay for turning a Karcher K series female fitting to suit a Nilfisk fitting: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Pressure-Washer-Karcher-K-series-Female-to-Nilfisk-Kew-Alto-Conversion-Adaptor-/271430931855?pt=UK_Home_Garden_PowerTools_SM&hash=item3f328b558f But yours maybe different. Really not sure how many different fittings there are for the Nilfisk range of pressure jet washers so I'd do as Lexx suggests above and see if the seller can exchange the snow foam gun or supply you with the correct adaptor. Unless you're certain that's the one you need.
  18. Was it from "Junction 17" cars then? Thread here; http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/82778-junction17-cars/page__hl__junction Some people don't seem to have much good to say about them.
