  1. This imo. My Mrs knows exactly how much I've spent on the Zed and says it's my money so just enjoy it. Bearing in mind I'm supposed to be saving up for a house for us to live together I think I've got the right woman.
  2. ^^ You are slightly hindering air flow ATTAKZ to the radiator and engine then though. Look's good I'll admit that but not for me.
  3. Do the imports have square plates mounted to the side then or in the centre? I'm more interested in leaving the front clean rather than the shape of the plate, just thought a square one could be mounted on the side of the bumper maybe? Yes the import vehicles usually come with square plates. If you like them though there is no reason why you can't fit one just make sure you don't block the front inlet for the radiator etc as I've seen that done a few times by our American cousins. Good luck and don't forget to show off some pictures or let us know how you get on.
  4. If it's not an import then I wouldn't personally put a square plate on. I'd go for a slightly smaller than OEM size, ...but not too small & keep the lettering/numbers all to legal size or you'll just attract unwanted attention from the Police.
  5. That's not good. Sorry to read you've had a run in with a 350Z owner. Not all of us drive like idiots though so try not to let it effect your judgment if you see another on the road.
  6. Have you seen the one for sale on eBay then; http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NISSAN-350Z-INFINITI-G35-VQ35DE-3-5-V6-STILLEN-SUPERCHARGER-/111367087760?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item19edfee690 Just wondered.
  7. I think AliveBoy has covered most of what springs to my mind. If I was thinking of buying it I would also factor in the price for; gearbox oil change, diff oil change, oil & filter change, power steering fluid change, coolant fluid change, brake fluid change and clutch fluid change. Not going to be cheap to do all of that but imo it needs doing. Some of the fluids should be changed regardless of the miles covered every 2-3 years ~ take a look at the 350Z service schedule here; http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/31110-service-schedule-for-a-350z/
  8. Sounds like an optimistic dyno? I wouldn't necessarily say that. Every car is different after all. Mine's a 2003 which on the same dyno at Horsham made 294.3bhp after an UpRev ~ mods: Invidia Gemini exhaust system, Berks HFC's, Stillen air intake and H.Dev plenum spacer. Power is rated at the flywheel on their dyno remember ~ power will be less at the hubs.
  9. I'd have bet a lot of money on you liking this.
  10. Oh definitely. I asked the seller various questions before I bought one including, "is this a genuine Mishimoto product?". Got all the answers I wanted and when I checked where the item had came from it stated Mishimoto UK, Kidderminster. Result.
  11. Interesting looking Zed. Did you mean Cardiff Uni though??
  12. No idea how they do it. Pretty sure you just need the above oil cooler kit though plus the thermostatic sandwich plate which can be bought from Mishimoto UK for around £100. Here's one on eBay for less than £100 though; http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/mishimoto-oil-cooler-thermostat-sandwich-plate-1-2bsp-/221447274928?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item338f4941b0 Or Mishimoto UK; http://www.mishimoto.co.uk/rear-mount-thermostatic-sandwich-plate.html
  13. I'm still enjoying playing GT6 on the PS3 ~ just in case anyones got it and has't played it in a while, ....the latest update has an Ayrton Senna set of challenges where you get to drive his first go-kart, F3 car and F1 car.
  14. Haha. Seems like a good quality kit, and that's just the bracket. Does seem great ~ definitely good quality and worth every penny.
  15. Stop copying me!. Bought the Mishimoto oil cooler a few weeks ago ~ same one and came direct from Mishimoto UK.
  16. Same here. My JDM WRX was great for the first month right up until the big end went (due to oil starvation after the oil pump failed). No problem, I love the car and want to keep it for years & years & years. So spend "big" and have the engine rebuilt with lot's of goodies, ...should be okay for decades now. Wrong!! 12K miles later and two years on it through a conrod straight through the side of the block totally f**king itself up in the process. F**k you Subaru. Never getting another Subaru but still miss that sound.
