  1. Well that's one way to lower it I guess.
  2. No point suggesting anything else then. Good luck with the BMW hunt then Tom.
  3. Careful now, that's what Rolf Harris said and look how that's turning out! Welcome aboard Martinjj.
  4. Very nice. Welcome aboard. *Waits for Whacky Will to arrive to tell the new guy that he needs a stubby aerial as it looks like a dodgem*. ...he's right though as it does.
  5. To do it properly it is a bumper off job. But there is a simpler way. You need to turn your steering all the way to the left (for doing the drivers side bulb) and all the way to the right (for doing the passengers side bulb) ~ then with your wheels like that you start by removing the screw holding the wheel arch liner and the two bolts underneath. Then you just pull your arch liner backwards giving you just enough room to get your hand to the back of the headlight assembly allowing you to remove & replace the sidelight bulbs. Bit of a pain but I've done it several times so can be done.
  6. They are time trial events Will so no actual racing against other cars but great fun. Before you start each event it gives you a short movie picture slide history about Ayrton as well which I found very interesting.
  7. Very nice. Better it feels so much better with that little lot done.
  8. If you have GT6 then Will make sure you have a go at the new Ayrton Senna challenges. Lot of fun driving his go-kart, F3 car & F1 lotus.
  9. Definitely agree. TopGear sometimes feels like it's filmed for kids TV if you ask me.
  10. Yeah I've been doing this Will. More for fun than actually believing I'll get through.
  11. Hi Mike, yes I just hand painted it with a 1/2" paintbrush. Now it's all dried you can't see any brush strokes or anything so I'm pleased with it. Did have a few bristles stuck on it though but pulled them off and touched up those areas.
  12. Are you basically saying just to seal it up at the bottom then? I think the glass part just unscrews so it can be emptied easily enough that way so it shouldn't matter about sealing up the bottom. Right?! Thanks for any answers. Edit: If that's the case I think I'll epoxy mine shut at the bottom.
  13. ^^ All ending today and Sunday so don't forget to bid or buy it now if your interested all.
  14. Gorgeous motors. That Zed though, ...I'm confused, ..part of me loves how it looks but that camber.
  15. Pm zmanalex Not sure if he could have helped ~ my Zed was totally "fubar" in the dream.
  16. Should be a great fun rwd track day toy. Not really a fan of these but I've heard that they can be very capable and just good old fashioned fun on track.
  17. This is funny ~ actually had a nightmare involving my Zed the other month. In the dream: I was with my Mrs and I had parked my car, ..we where trying to find it in a field & multi-storey car park. I couldn't find it anywhere and couldn't remember where it was parked. I was walking around pressing the key fob to see if I could see the indicators flash. The stress was so real. Eventually I saw a flash of the indicators but when I went to the car it didn't look like my Zed at first. It was on bricks, every panel dented, no windows and missing loads of parts. People around where laughing and I just kept shouting & pushing them telling them how would they feel if it was their car! Woke up sweating & stressed to the max.
  18. Really? Off to look at these now if they're on your site, ...but I must resist spending more money with you for now.
  19. I've heard of people having similar problems. Imo I wouldn't bother with them but was just suggesting some options for the op. I have chrome dome valve covers on my Zed. Look great and only £4.50 odd from eBay. "Touch wood", ...nobodies pinched them yet.
  20. Seen them on eBay before so you might want to check on there. Sometimes there are ones from China/Asia (£150 odd) and other times I have seen Seibon versions but they are very pricey. Like this; http://seiboncarbon.com/store/carbon-fiber-engine-cover-for-2002-2005-nissan-350z.html The other option is to have your standard one dipped. You can then have it any style of carbon fibre you like then ~ probably cost around £100 at a guess. Link; http://www.aquagraphix.co.uk/ Hope that helps.
  21. Welcome aboard. Please don't moan about being 22 as most of us on here are a lot older than that, ...some of the members on here probably even remember when the first motor vehicles where released. Used to have an EP3 Type R myself ~ great cars.
  22. Read up, already made that joke Still funny mind Doesn't hurt to hammer the point home. Measure twice and cut once & all that.
  23. Not sure myself but have a look at the two threads before and the video. Maybe of interest to you. http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/28017-dial-and-interior-lights-colour-change-pics/ http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/69399-dashboard-bluered-led-conversion/
