  1. Better ad an hours labour charge onto the for sale price Ricey ~ plus a bit more for the blood loss.
  2. Flipping heck!! Just had to google that as had no idea what it was ~ Evo magazines review has filled me in. Definitely on my wish list for the future now. Not too sure on it's looks but by god it's got some go.
  3. For removing the gunk off the boot lid ~ you could try heating it up with a hair dryer and rolling off with your fingers the worst of it. Then use "AutoGlym Intensive Tar Remover" to get the glue off. If that doesn't work then try WD40 as that does remove sticky stuff I've found. 4. Good advert and fair price. Surprised it hasn't sold yet. GLWTS.
  5. Don't really know if I'm honest mate, Martin bought some trophies, gave them to a journo friend who apparently walked around the car park on Saturday and picked out the cars he liked the most. Didn't know anything about it until Mark clio gave me a trophy this morning. Lets just say it was for best Zed then.
  6. What about an old Pug 205 GTi. Still a "performance car" of sorts. Link: http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201406295406690/sort/default/usedcars/make/peugeot/model/205/radius/1500/postcode/cf158rl/onesearchad/used%2Cnearlynew%2Cnew/page/1?logcode=p Strip it out and it'll be pretty quick as well. Darn sight cheaper than the VXR = more money in the kitty for the new CTR.
  7. I think your mad nowhereboy. Not for wanting a change, or for wanting the VXR Corsa, ...but just because you know the new CTR is what you want, you need to (want to) save cash and that's what you choose. Seriously I'd buy something like an old £1K-£1500 run about, possibly a 1.4 and then seriously start saving some cash. That way you'll have a nice lump ready for next year, really appreciate the difference in performance and not lose too much cash getting rid of the run about.
  8. Awesome ~ I've never seen that video and that car's sound was music to my ears.
  9. ^^ Nice. What was that for then Graham? Best car at Lake Z or something?
  10. You've done a half decent job there Tackleberry. ;)
  11. Posted in the wrong section too flyn. Fyi ~ use Photobucket it is much easier that way.

    My Supra

Sounds like it's going to be awesome Ian.
  13. Standard GTS is 130hp mate, I dont think so What drugs are you taking ? Think he's right if your talking of just the GTS version. The 350Z should beat even the R33 GTS 2.5Turbo version as the 0-60 on that is quoted as around 6.7secs from what I can find.
  14. You seem to have a real passive aggressive attitude megatombomb. That's just the way you're coming across to me anyway. If your talking like for like then your right you can't really find long tube manifolds for the 350. SG Motorsports used to make them but they have since stopped trading. My local exhaust fabricators though could make some up I'm sure which would be a lot cheaper than the SuperSprint versions with similar results. Short manifolds ~ well there are a whole host of companies (Stillen, DC Sports, Borla etc) that make decent manifolds for the DE and HR Zeds. Same goes for the CAT's. Both giving good proven results. Tbh though I'm past caring ~ as everyone has said it's your money, your Zed so do what makes you happy. SuperSprint long tube headers where discussed once before on here but this is as far as it went; http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/35184-supersprint-long-tube-exhaust-manifolds/
  15. Can't wait. Really enjoying all the different cars in one place, not to mention all the drivers. Absolutely fantastic to see.
  16. Watching it now Will thanks but it's difficult because I'm also watching the live feed you linked from Goodwood. Two cars just simultaneously crashed though on the hill so that's getting my full attention, ...well and this forum.
  17. You can get the carbon fibre engine cover from Tarmac Sportz; http://www.tarmacsportz.co.uk/GB/350z_Tarmac_Sportz_CF_Engine_Cover/350TSCFEC_.aspx Not sure about the strut brace though sorry. Sounds like it's going to be looking great very soon. Regarding the silicone coolant hoses ~ you can get a full set of stainless steel Samco made hose clamps from Demon Tweeks for around £12 btw. Will look much nicer then using your old clamps. Link: http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/performance/hose-clips/car/nissan/350z/2004/samco-stainless-steel-hose-clip-kit-suits-4-coolant-hose-kit
  18. No, not yet... Well can't be long left to wait now. Really hope it goes well for you.
  19. Looks good Andy and kudos for doing it yourself. Hoping to get that kit myself one day so always good to read others are pleased with it.
  20. Great pictures G-girl. Have you got your Zed yet btw?
  21. ^^ Black, green and white is a great colour scheme imo.
  22. It is a lot to spend on exhaust manifolds and CATs, ...in fact I'd say it was a pretty insane amount to spend on manifolds & CATs. Especially when other top brands will do the same job and some will do a better job for less money. There are a lot of choices and plenty of traders on here that will give you decent prices on these things through the forum as well. Two examples below; The Cougar Store; http://cougarstore.co.uk/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=1_10&zenid=bcaa60565806895c2c0f2d2ff1b32aee Tarmac Sportz; http://www.tarmacsportz.co.uk/products.aspx?CategoryId=32850911-9f8a-43e4-a5fc-24678e254d1d Whatever you decide to do just be sure it's what makes you happy as you're the one that has to live with it. My advice would be to go to some meets and listen to different exhaust setups that people have. That will give you a much clearer example of what these systems sound like than any video ever will.
  23. Mazda RX500 Concept car. My google internet detective skills know no bounds.
