  1. Some links for you here that you may find of interest. http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/66932-window-tint-prices/ http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/71896-roof-wrap-and-rear-window-tint/ http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/59804-window-tinting/ Hope that helps.
  2. New car mats I take it.
  3. Definitely prefer the carbon fibre one. Very nice.
  4. Obviously a woman with good tastes.
  5. Very sad grundy ~ what a sad pair of w**kers they where obviously.
  6. That's about what I'd pay. I want a gunmetal or anthracite finish tho You're probably looking at more like £250-350 odd from a decent wheel specialist. Unless like Zhorno you can get mates rates.
  7. I'd imagine Clark Motorsport will have everything you'll need. Link: http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/207-clark-motorsport/ ...but obviously that won't help you for tomorrow. Best bet would be to ring a local branch of LDS or similar motor factors in the morning if you need them urgently. Can't say for certain whether they'll have them, ..even a Nissan main dealer has to order in most parts.
  8. Shouldn't stop you getting your MOT done though should it, ...unless the garage is really far away?
  9. Looks great ~ your Zed, your rules. Don't change a thing you don't want to bud.
  10. Loads more threads than that about refurbing Rays alloys on here. If you go into google, type search "350z uk_ _ _ _" followed by what you want to find on here and it will show loads of results. Much more than you will find by using the "search" button on this site.
  11. Just thought of one ~ I used to work in a pub when I was younger (around 16-18). Was great fun and everyone there was a good laugh with Friday night lock in's for the staff. Anyway the manager of the pub who was into his cars started spending more money than he was earning and got into a bit of financial trouble. To try to solve it he ended up staging a robbery and paying someone to hit him over the head one day ~ stealing a weeks takings in the process. We eventually found out when the Police charged him a week later after they found £7K in his flat which was £2K short of the £9K takings and he admitted staging the whole thing. Was sent to prison. 13 Years later when I was doing car/van parts deliveries in the Newport area I bumped into him working in a van rental company. Was very awkward as when I was younger I had sort of admired him and was upset/angry at the time that he had done this stupid thing of staging the robbery. Spoke to him for a bit and was good to hear he was still with his wife but still bit weird seeing him again.
  12. Nooooo....that's where all fun is! lol Are you sure?...
  13. That's pretty cool Pete. Unfortunately I have no interesting coincidences that I can think of to share.
  14. Any good wheel specialist should be able to do it no problem and a colour change is what a lot of people have done. Lot's of threads about this. Some colour ideas; http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/45541-rays-alloys-refurb-colour/ http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/63802-rays-refurbed-in-bronze/ http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/73297-rays-wheel-refurbpaint/ http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/69185-another-rays-refurb-idea-thread/
  15. This is why you pay someone else to deal with all this faffing.
  16. Welcome aboard. Regarding the W-brace (Not M btw ) a lot of people just wire brush off all the rust and then paint it with Hammerite or similar rust proof paint. There is an after market option available that I have seen for sale on eBay but it's hardly worth it tbh. If yours is too far gone for painting then you could always try zmanalex on here for a better condition second hand one. Fyi ~ Quite an expensive part new.
  17. My favourite steering wheel ~ looks great.
  18. Technically almost everyone's car is modified ~ if you add wheel valve caps, that's a mod, your favourite bands sticker on the rear window, that's a mod etc Personally I think a proper restoration of any car is a bit naff really ~ always best to improve on things where you can imo. Used to work as a classic car restorer. Mainly on MG's, Austin Healey's and a few Triumphs. We did have other cars in for work though including a Ferrari Dino and two Aston Martins that where having full restorations ~ a DB6 and DB4 convertible. Every car we did had something different from what it would have done from the factory. On some it was just stainless steel bolts or other more modern rust resistant components but others had completely new braking systems & power units which was always for the best.
  19. All the roads around Westminster are fine.. Typical. Roads around here are sorely lacking in decent repairs ~ when they are repaired for the most part it's just a quick patch up job which never lasts either.
  20. Also imo will need some copper grease for the back of the pads/shims.
  21. Please don't stop Ian!! Think your the only one bar Tarmac Chris & Mitz who actually uses my real name. ...and they have to for the debit card payments. Arghh you've just released my name onto the forum. I mean, Ian.. Who's Ian? Whoops. My bad. Don't worry I'm sure someone will come up with some sort of clever nick name for you soon that will stick like superglue and everyone will forget your real name. we do hes Nicolas Like.. Mouthwash? Mouthwash you say?.... New nick name initiation procedure complete ~ from this day forth you shall be called "Scope".
