Xyz cars are the fastest didn't you know?
-
Interesting list Dan. I wouldn't bother with the Stillen damper though unless you're going FI. Saves you £175 odd then which you could put towards better brake discs or a good set of Ferodo DS2500 pads to help you stop quicker.

Love all the people saying "sell it, buy xyz" Why don't we do that with the Zeds?! ...or people with Skylines sell them & buy a Ferrari etc. If he wants more power from the FN2 then he could always get a turbo kit from TDi North. Starts at £4500 but he'll need to up his budget a bit to do it as he'll need to pay for tuning on top as well plus a boost controller & 3" cat to back system if he doesn't already have one. Personally I wouldn't as putting all that power through fwd is always going to be difficult to put down the power but if he wants to then that's up to him. More info here; http://www.tdi-north.../fn2-turbo-kits Edit: Fyi he'll gain more than 50bhp with that.

Sad for the deer but glad nobody was killed in that accident.

Imo the Invidia Gemini exhaust system is a great choice. I am slightly biased though as that's what I bought for my Zed and I love the sound it makes combined with the Berks HFC's (High Flow CAT's). Got it all from Tarmac Sportz a trader on here but there are other traders on here so shop around for the best prices. Got mine on a group buy so saved some cash which was nice. Fyi ~ if you're modding with performance in mind then definitely budget for an UpRev otherwise you won't see any benefit to the mods you've done really. -

Welcome aboard.

Would look better colour coded you're right for sure.

Probably but the mods will be able to help/tell you for sure. Try asking the question though in the "forum help" section. Link: http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/9-forum-help/

Welcome aboard Brian. Get used to spending money with a Zed as there is a lot you can do to them if you like modding and a whole plethora of excellent traders on here to help you spend that hard earned dosh.

Yeah some people will say anything to get your cash unfortunately. More info here if you need it; http://www.policespecials.com/forum/index.php/topic/136915-pressed-metal-number-plates-uk-compliant/ Hopefully you'll get away with it but only time will tell.

Welcome aboard Chris. Once Zeditus takes hold you might forget all about the GTR, ....at least for a bit anyway.

The blanks there to blank off the hole (obviously ) but no idea sorry what switch might have been there in a different spec/model?! Maybe it's to do with Zeds in a different country like the US or something which may have something that the UK Zeds don't. As sam says you could get a blanking plate from an auto electrician but I'd PM zmanalex for the genuine Nissan one. Otherwise try R35LEE, Clark Motorsport or Shades RS who are all breaking Zeds currently (in the traders section/members trader section and for sale section).

As they are a digital system they can use them for whatever they like... :surrender:

Good for you carltonx ~ hope you get hold of them.

This thread will give you a great idea of what to expect if you do go the dipped route with your interior parts. Link: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/75046-dipping-the-interior/ Hope that helps and gives you some ideas.

*High five* Exactly, looks like veeg33 loves his Zed just like the rest of us so let's give him good advice when we can. Tbf though I didn't even mention the single bucket so I thought I was being pretty chilled out. Seasiders filled him in on that mistake now though.

Did you mean you brought a sponge along, ...or that you bought a sponge? Either way take that sponge and f**king burn it. You really shouldn't use a sponge when cleaning your car or any car or painted surface for that matter. You really need to buy one of these to replace the sponge; http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Sonus-Ultimate-Sheepskin-Wool-Wash-Mitt-Car-Detailing-Shampoo-Glove-Lambswool-/130936852049?pt=UK_Car_Accessories_Car_Care_Cleaning&hash=item1e7c71ce51 It's a lambswool wash mitt and won't damage your paintwork like a sponge will. Where is ilogikal1 when you need him? Check out the detailing section further or just ask if you want any advice. Nice Zed.

Plenty of traders in the traders section that can supply you everything you need to do a big service. Link: http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/93-professional-traders/ Service schedule here just in case you hadn't spotted it: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/31110-service-schedule-for-a-350z/

If you can get someone to use the front windscreen washer & rear windscreen washer independently of each other that may help as you will be able to hear whether or not the motors are actually pumping. If they are not then I'd start by checking the fuses before moving on to replacing the washer pump motors if it isn't a fuse problem. You say the Y-piece is clear which is easy to check but how did you check the non-return valve? Mine seemed to be ok (as some water came through) when I had a problem with my front washer jets but after replacing it with a new one it worked great again but alas only for a short time. It failed within 3 weeks hence why I eventually drilled it out which has solved the problem for good. Some more threads on this here; http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/84697-windscreen-jets-not-working/ http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/69937-newbie-washer-jets-not-working/ http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/32515-washer-jets-not-working/ http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/52574-washer-jet-motors-again/ http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/67793-windscreen-washer-problem/ http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/8526-windscreen-washer-problem/

Pfftt I get reception fine on my 2". Anyway who'd want to listen to the radio all the time anyway as it is total cr*p nowadays ~ filled with useless adverts, stupid DJ's talking rubbish, songs repeated again & again... etc CD's for the win or better yet my 8gb USB loaded full of non stop tracks.

Bradders just fyi if those plates are metal then they are illegal as far as I'm aware. Believe they are only allowed to be plastic reflective type number plates on UK based cars. Badges look good and the Zeds looking great overall though.
