  1. Lot's of steering wheels on Demon Tweeks; http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/motorsport/steering-wheels Might find them cheaper elsewhere but at least it might give you some more options to look at.
  2. Not sayin' Well to me it look's like the same one I recently purchased from a certain Tarmac Sportz. Link: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/81666-tarmac-sportz-rhd-twin-a-pillar-gauge-holder/ Look's great Ian.
  3. Just got back from a nice afternoon out with my Mrs although the weather was atrocious. Anyway my reason for posting in here was I met someone today that definitely shouldn't be on the road ~ driving home the weather was constant rain, lashing wind and very dull. Pretty much everyone on the road in front of me on the dual carriageway had their lights on apart from two idiots. The first was a Seat owner who turned off before I got near them but the second was a blue Mercedes A class driver who I ended up being behind for awhile. This d**k didn't indicate once on any roundabout, was driving with no lights on in very poor visibility weather and then to top it off as I drove past him once we'd joined the motorway I could see he was on his F'in' phone!!. ....and breath.
  4. Seen some nice OMP made deep dish wheels before. Is this the sort of thing you're after?...
  5. Have a chat with some of the traders on here as they're bound to be able to sort this out for you at a good price. The Cougar Store, Clark Motorsport or similar for parts like this. Take a look around here; http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/93-professional-traders/ Clark Motorsport for example; http://www.clarkmotorsport.co.uk/parts/Clutch-Slave-Cylinder/30620-CD00B
  6. If you look underneath the car and follow the exhaust system from the back towards the front, ...where the exhaust pipes go upwards towards the engine is where the CAT's are situated. Usually with an 02 sensor plugged into each side. Some info in this thread from post n#32 onward's about the different types of CAT's. If they are standard they'll have large heat shields around them and just be mild steel so should be an easy spot. 7. Oh dear, ...had the same thing myself so I know what it's like. Just bite that bullet and get it all done. At least you know it's all good afterwards.
  8. Have you got De-CAT's of HFC's (High Flow CAT's) with your exhaust system? If not that would definitely bring back some more noise if that's what you're after.
  9. Pretty sure his plans have changed now waltzinblack as he's had a bit of a bump in the Zed so is trying to repair it himself rather than let the insurance right it off.
  10. ^^ This. Wish I could live away from all the idiots. luckily at least I can park on our own driveway or in the garage.
  11. That's a pretty cool looking system PPod. Look's to me like an Ark or Motordyne copy. I say copy because I'm pretty sure if it was either it would be branded but still you never know it could be a legit older version. Does it say "Grip" on the sides of those tail pipes? ..if so then I'd imagine it's the Ark system.
  12. Seen a few videos on Youtube regarding this type of thing. Link to DRL's vid; From this company; http://www.jlclightings.com/Super-Bright-LED-Car-Interior-Light-BMW-E71-X6-p/sku_pkg300.htm LED & Demon headlights mod;
  13. That's pretty unlucky. Good luck though & fingers crossed the weekend is better for you.
  14. Drift battle to determine the winner That would be awesome. ...even better if followed by a quarter mile & handling course. Best of three events wins.
  15. I was just about to post that Will ~ much better buy.
  16. Probably will stay just a little bit quieter from now on yes. Not the end of the world though as you say it still sounds great when you give it some beans plus I bet your neighbours are a bit happier about it being quieter.
  17. The exhaust note will change as the exhaust system gets more coked up internally. It's especially noticeable when the exhaust is new and after you've put a few hundred/thousand miles on it. Was the exhaust recently fitted by the old owner before you bought it do you know?
  18. Clark Motorsport breaking 350Z ~ http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/87071-breaking350zs-all-parts-available-cms/ zmanalex (I know he is breaking a few 350's currently) ~ http://www.350z-uk.com/user/9648-zmanalex/ R35LEE breaking a 2004 350Z ~ http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/63996-2004-350z-breaking-all-parts/ Shades RS breaking a 53 plate 350Z ~ http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/87886-53-nissan-350z-gt-breaking-spares-with-20-khans/ A9H-RX breaking 350Z/lots of parts left ~ http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/82846-350z-breaking/ Hope that helps some what.
  19. Dan it's your Zed and how you drive it is down to you ~ won't be getting a lecture about how you drive from me. Been there & crashed a few cars myself. Have you looked in the for sale sections on here? Shades RS, zmanalex, Clark Motorsport, R35LEE and a few others I'm sure I'm forgetting are all breaking Zeds. Pretty sure between all of them you could get the parts you're after to repair your Zed. Might even come in the same colour as your Zed is now too so won't need painting.
  20. Welcome to Zed ownership and yes, the best bet is to find a good independent garage locally & forget the Nissan Dealers.
