I've got a week off work mate so all I've got is time for the forum.
Zeds in my garage all clean and I will be fully detailing it tomorrow if my back recovers from today's washing efforts that is.
Really? Have you not seen the ads now run on TV for "Blue cigs" and a few other electronic cigarette brands?
It's grown massively in the UK in the past few years and is huge in the US.
It's a cheaper alternative to smoking cigarettes and widely regarded as much healthier too although obviously no long term studies have been conducted yet. I've used it to stop smoking cigarettes and eventually I'll stop vaping too which is the plan.
Just had a good read of all this lot ~ fair bit to digest so to speak.
Got a week off now and plan on doing my car properly mid week. I feel tired already just thinking about all the buffing & polishing I'm going to be doing.
That should work but the problem is and the reason I suggested plastidip is that it's a flexible paint even when dry.
Other paints may crack I'd guess although I understand the rubber bung most likely won't be moving but it's just that it may crack when it's being installed.
Sad thing about this I think is all the A, B, C etc list celebs that jump on the band wagon purely for their own selfish gains in popularity. Some of whom I've read haven't even donated to the ALS.
Fair play to those though that have done it & more importantly donated.
Probably the wrong paint to use on the rubber as it's probably breaking down the rubber/reacting.
Pretty sure plasti dip spray paint will do the job but never used it myself; http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/PLASTIDIP-PLASTI-DIP-USA-PLASTIC-RUBBER-PAINT-SPRAY-CANS-AEROSOL-400ML-FLEXIBLE-/181220903710?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&var=&hash=item2a319b8b1e
Also it may be necessary to use a specified primer first to help the paint bond but again I haven't used plastidip before so check with the seller first if you can.
