I always do that but generally I'm only touching up chips, ...and not giant letters spelling out c**t on my bonnet.
Think it just saves time doing it that way.
Welcome aboard Xpoza ~ always good to have people from other countries on forums like this.
You get another take then on the modding scenes and what people like to do to their cars in different countries.
Even worse when you actually see it.
That "T" looks about 10 inches long at least. Don't know why but in my head I imagined it would be smaller.
Good luck with getting it sorted mate, hope you make some good progress this weekend.
Was actually thinking of this thread on my way to work this morning, the reason being because of a lycra clad idiot cyclist.
Driving along the road I could see this cyclist about 8-10 cars ahead. We where all going slow because we where stuck behind him but tbf the traffic was heavy so we wouldn't have been going that much faster if he wasn't there but still he's slightly impeding the flow of traffic.
Anyway came to a set of red traffic lights ~ the cyclist then lifts his bike onto the pavement (as he has a race bike with wheels so thin they'd almost certainly snap if he jumped up a curb) then proceeds to ride his bike on the pavement and technically through the red light around the corner. As he's doing so he almost collides with a female pedestrian who he doesn't see as he peddles around the corner at 20 odd mph.
Then when he's clear of the lights he drops his bike back onto the road again now impeding the flow of traffic some what again once the lights gone green & we all catch up. Come to another set of lights to which he ignores again by going on the pavement. This continues for several miles until I eventually turn off away from the idiot.
Imagine the outrage if motorbiker's or scooter riders did this or even cars if there was room enough for one on the pavement. Bl**dy frustrating selfish t**t.
This with bells, whistles and other noisy parts all over it.
It can easily cause friction wear on the pistons, piston rings and cylinder walls. Also I believe from what I've heard it can also damage your CAT's.
Some good plans there, lovely BMW and the Zed look's pretty cool too.
Regarding the interior door pull/switch housing. I believe on the facelift versions it's just clipped in and doesn't have a screw holding it.
Here's a guide that will show you how to remove the door pulls on the pre-facelift and for yours I think you just need to do the same but when you get to "step 2" just lift it upwards from the back slowly & it should just unclip.

Personally I can't see the point. I'd sell it now and buy something you can enjoy with the money.
If you got hit by a bus tomorrow and where laid up in hospital on your death bed I doubt you're going to be lying there thinking, "boy I'm glad I didn't drive that Cossie much and kept it nice & dry".
More likely you'd be thinking "I wish I had driven that thing whilst I could" or "wish I'd have sold it and gotten something fun to enjoy whilst I could".
Edit: spelling doh.
Highly recommend Jez & the guy's at Horsham Developments.
Here's the service schedule for the 350z: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/31110-service-schedule-for-a-350z/
This will give you a good idea of what should have been done to your Zed by now depending on year/mileage. Somethings are best done for peace of mind imo if you have no idea if/when they where done. Things like the brake/clutch fluid/coolant etc other things are a good idea to do just to keep the Zed running smoothly like changing the gearbox oil/diff oil.
