  1. Welcome aboard Deano. 350Z will be a great step up from the Corsa, ...pretty sure you'll never go back to a Corsa after driving a Zed.
  2. If it was me I'd get a nice set of HFC's if I was you to replace the old CAT's. Not sure if it will help get rid of the "hum" on the motorways you describe though as that may be down to your Cobra exhaust system. I get no drone/hum from my set up with Berks HFC's but that is with an Invidia Gemini exhaust system.
  3. Guess the Rolls is a bit much. Mapping the 320D is from £249 "ish" apparently. Link: http://www.remappingcwmbran.co.uk/bmw.html
  4. GTechniq C4 trim restorer is good stuff for the black plastics ~ expensive but apparently worth every penny.

^^This... ...and that, ^^ ^^ Oh and this.
  6. It's not finished yet Lyndzzz, ....you still have the standard radiator cap, plus it's needs a nice shiny turbo or supercharger under there I think. Seriously though looks great ~ got Mishimoto red hoses to fit to mine at some point soon too.
  7. Ahhh cool, ...good to find out what it was then.
  8. Only for your info but found some info in this thread. Link: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/36491-handling-differrences-18-vs-19/ I'd still ask Mitz though to see what he thinks just to be safe.
  9. So run 18"s on the front and 19"s on the rear? Hhhmm. It's doable I'm sure but I wouldn't want to advise you as I have no experience with that tbh. Honestly I'd send a PM to Mitz to see if he can help you as he's a good guy or maybe zmanalex to see if he knows "maybe". Link: http://www.350z-uk.com/user/8724-cs/
  10. Rolls? Link: http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201409217584435/sort/default/price-from/3000/page/1/make/rolls-royce/radius/1500/price-to/4000/onesearchad/used%2Cnearlynew%2Cnew/usedcars/engine-size-cars/5lplus/postcode/cf158rl?logcode=p
  11. Definitely as no sense in having the windscreen washer bottle filled if it is redundant.
  12. Your post is a little confusing when referring to the sizes 18" and 19" but I'm guessing you're asking if you can run a 255/40/18's on the front before you get the 19" alloys are you? If so then yes. You would need a 285/40/18 then on the rear I believe. If you meant 19" then you can run 255/35 front and would again need a 285/35 on the rear. FYI ~ I currently run 245/35/19 on a 9.5J ET20 on the front and 275/35/19 on a 10.5J ET20 on the rear of my Zed. Works fine with no TC issues. You could also run 255/35/19 & 285/35/19 but depending on your ride height you may start to find issues with rubbing but if you're standard ride height it should be ok. If you're still struggling with what sizes to get try a PM to Mitz at The Cougar Store as he was a godsend when getting mine.
  13. One on the drivers side is your front & rear windscreen washer bottle. The one on the passenger side is your headlight washer bottle. Both are linked together for filling up and not connected to the radiator in any shape or form. Why would you want to remove them though? Or is it just temporary whilst doing a repair/mod?
  14. Few nice BMW's in your price range; http://www.autotrader.co.uk/search/used/cars/postcode/cf158rl/radius/1500/onesearchad/used%2Cnearlynew%2Cnew/quantity-of-doors/2/transmission/automatic/engine-size-cars/2l_to_2-5l/price-from/3500/fuel-type/petrol/sort/default/body-type/coupe/price-to/4500 Some Mercs: http://www.autotrader.co.uk/search/used/cars/mercedes-benz/postcode/cf158rl/radius/1500/engine-size-cars/2-6l_to_2-9l/body-type/coupe/price-from/3000/onesearchad/used%2Cnearlynew%2Cnew/fuel-type/petrol/price-to/4000/sort/default/transmission/automatic/quantity-of-doors/2 Did see a nice 2005 BMW 318 Ci for £4.5K odd ~ looked ok but I'd imagine a little sluggish maybe.
  15. Didn't think glrnet did? ...but I do and it is a lovely noise & a quality piece of kit. GLWTS.
  16. @Ian ~ Zed looks great on the Ring. Really nice ride height on it too. @Stevo ~ Just gorgeous.
  17. Pity you where limited to 70mph but I can understand why they do it. Next time book a single seater driving experience as then you can fully enjoy the car with no instructors frowning on your heavy right foot.
  18. LRF4N would you like petrol or diesel powered or not bothered? What about number of doors, ...prefer 2 door coupes or do you have kids so 4 doors would be better? Any preference on driven wheels? 4wd etc? Also engine size: happy to drive a 1.1, 1.3 etc or prefer 2.0Litres and above? Just thought if I/we got some more details from you could search Autotrader to see what turns up.
  19. Glad it's not oil related then ~ did you check the under tray as GIXXERUK mentioned earlier to see if it is loose?
