  1. Being a Welsh Gooner my normal podcasts are : Arsecast - 2 a week The Tuesday Club - Alan Davies - once or Two a month depending how Arsenal are doing Guardian Football Weekly Scrum V Rhod Gilbert BBC 5 LIve 606 Theres no such thing as a fish Used to listen to Answer me this but the presenters got a bit self righteous and condescending after a while
  2. yes thanks ! spot on - Think I got a bargain there
  3. This ones for Dan - What have you done with Twobears ?
  4. I cannot get this out my head when Jazz comes up
  5. 52 although low mileage ! had the Z as a 50th present to myself shes no spring chicken either (2003) but ageing remarkable well
  6. Not seen that before - hers my bay with a Samco
  7. First advice is remove any emotion, a company puts a dollar/pound value on every employee if you say no they will already have a back up. You also need to build in the X Factor on top of current salary. By that I mean longer commute, associated hassles of moving job as you may then consider relocating closer - all that should be included in salary expectation. Good luck with this must admit soon as I feel too comfortable in a job - I get itchy feet and fancy a new challenge
  8. Should be there 2 -3 years save up a bit as the tax rate is only 7% then the wide roads of Queensland ! OH is an Aussie
  9. There's also a strict age related import policy - have only ever seen 1 x 350z - I did post a pic. Will be a Lambretta for me when I move over there! Rules not so strict
  10. Only ever seen 1 or 2 and I'm in Singapore a fair bit- remember to get a car in SG you need a COE permit which costs the equivalent of £35,000.00 for 10 years only - plus the cost of the car/road tax - so certainly some cash on show there. They do this to limit car growth to 3% per year.
  11. Just renewed slightly more expensive than last year @£441 still building the NCB after the years overseas but happy to support CK - always good service
  12. Have seen this in the Flesh, the owner lives near me and we were parked together at the wash at Tescos in Lynn a few months ago, he spent a lot of time looking at Zeds( at The Coltishall Show in May where we had 5 cars on a nano stand), before taking the plunge, Thats where I first met him . I said the yellow wasn't my thing but the rest looked OK. I gave same advice - mod for yourself not others. The yellow film isn't as bright as in the photo but my initial thoughts were France ! My Zed would probably had organ rejection syndrome If I pulled that one
  13. The skirts were £50 for the pair of fleabay - I have no idea what style they are and neither did the original seller - they came of a Red 350z in the Stoke area. Ypu can see it very small pic within pic. I have not seem them anywhere else and they do get comments - All well and good but not good if they have an occasional bash that trashes over time. The Body Shop guys said the same thing about using rivets as the plates are not in view I can measure up a rough template and would have thought aluminium best mat ? below were the pics and you can see wear on them. They were patched up and sprayed by RT Performance who fitted them - I don't thing Taras had any major problems just that they made the car look low without being physically lowerd if you get my drift. On the whole they are fine over speed bumps speed grounding does happen - had a real good one on the Wales weekend last year after the Aberdovey lunch break on the Saturday - caught a few of us !
  14. Going off topic a little - Been working my way through the 2016 Best Picture Oscar Nominees seen 3 so far Bridge of Spies - Good movie, typical solid Tom Hanks performance 8/10 The Big Short - Very Good and will scare the sh*t out of you on how banks can be so irresponsible - both Bale and Steve Carrells characters are superb 9/10 - saw a dodgy copy in Hanoi last week just in case I get comments its not released in UK yet ! The Martian - Best Movie I have seen for years, its sad, hilarious at times but utterly compelling 10/10 - probably won't win as its up against non fiction movies.
  15. **SPOILER ALERT** Not sure about Batman v Superman - will probably go see, I did enjoy Zack Snyders take on the Superman story but Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne will take some getting used to after Christian Bale. Its DC playing catchup - their own version of the Avengers, which incidentally brings up Captain America CIvil War due for release in May - that also looks very good but interested to see how much of the comic lore is used - here's the potential spoiler - in the comics Steve Rogers forms a breakaway Avengers team after all Super Heroes have to register with the US Government - he refuses and goes underground and is eventually killed (temporarily - it is comic fiction!) and Bucky Barnes ( The Winter Soldier and his best mate) picks up the shield becomes Captain America at Nick Fury's request
  16. Saw this a few weeks ago . Made following points - Contrary to what you think I do like the Star Wars movies but not a fanatic. The new bad guy is no Darth Vader he's more Dark Helmet ( Spaceballs for you young 'uns) If you are going to be bad - be very bad - stop pussying around and the lack of faith in the good/bad thing is disturbing. Not exactly original is it ? Lots of powerful bad guys are beaten by a few plucky good guys who blow up the biggest weapon used by said bad guys against overwhelming odds ( never tell me the odds) I guess if its worked twice before why not really squeeze every last drop and go for the treble ? Overall though was entertaining if somewhat predictable. I am of a certain age that saw the originals in the cinema and The Empire Strikes still far and away the best IMO. I guess it was all so new to what we were used to at that time. The Star Wars Franchise is a monster but too big a gap between the movies until now, but would say the Marvel movies are probably more fun to watch. Looking forward to Dead Pool in 3 weeks far more than I was for Force Awakens.
  17. Morning All Looking to see if its possible to get a small set of skid plates fabricated to fit on the underside of the side skirts of the car. My Skirts are pretty low and about to get refurbished after Brittany Ferries tried their best to remove them using their ramp , so the body shop guy suggested fitting a small set on the low points so mainly front side possibly rear as well - he reckons he can fix them on no trouble so anyone out fancy a helping bit of a side project will pay for mats and time etc PIc below -

    Jap sat nav

I did look at this as tried to get mine converted. I can take you for sushi in Tokyo but forget it in the UK. a 2006 X Trail has the same UK system as the JDM but its a pretty pish near 10 year old system that doesn't do post codes. I keep mine and sometimes fire it up for shows but if you are looking for functionality rather than a talking piece either get a tablet that fits over the screen or use a TomTom/Garmin and save the pain There's a few threads on this in the JDM section I think. X Trail Sat nav's go for about £150- £220 on fleabay
  19. I felt sick as a pig at the Nissan day day in the GTR fast lap but was OK with Andy in the zed - and he was quicker ! Wierd
  20. Who wants to play with noncey Luke Skywalker when you can roll with Big Darth
  21. Just have the BoS ending to do on F4 - probably leave it until some DLC come out - I haven't explored all the map and will probably go after the Bobbleheads Had a quick look at Just Cause 3 last night - looks a lot of fun , and didn't realise Battlefront had no story mode ! Will fire up AC Syndicate tonight, I did lose faith a little with the series with the Black Flag Nautical Battles shenanigans but the original and Ezio Auditore games are still some of my favourites
  22. Just about done with Fallout 4, have Battlefront,The New Assassins Creed and Just Cause 3 in the plastic so hmmmmmmmmmmm what next ?
