  1. Thanks for the heads up. I guess hours can be read both ways as in not many or used a lot indicating reliability. For me it's all about relablity as there's no lifeboats and plenty of sharks ! Any general spares you recommend taking as I'm getting a 20ft Container for my bits and last time only managed 3 pallets so have plenty of room and that's with a ski on a trailer
  2. Hi all Considering getting one of these on the move overseas - am a total noob so haven't a clue what to look for - I would prefer something old and reliable as where I am headed looks are not important. Seem to be a lot about for about £3000 so pitching about there. Parts will not be in ready supply and will probably have to service myself so any advice appreciated.
  3. Not about the money really - well not at this stage, in a years time may feel differently but for now not entertaining as an option. The cars had the red leather retrim not to everyone's taste and I knew that when I did it but for now the cars a keeper. I may let Son of Mudman drive it about a bit at some stage.
  4. Currently have a quote for a warehouse type building thats dehumidified and no windows for about £70 a month inclusive of battery checks and a run out (insured) once a month - that seems pretty good
  5. Hi All Time has come to move overseas for a few years as a few of you that know me was on the cards although slightly behind schedule. Any recommendations on where to store a much loved JDM Fairlady ? Ideally around South Wales/Thames Valley/ East Anglia mainly as have family that can take it out for a spin every now and then and thinking warehouse type rather than shipping container. Could be up to 2 years as don't want to sell the zed and would prefer to store until I decide what I am doing long term as may end up in that part of the world permanently. Cheers Rob

  7. I got the CC module from the US - they assured me they would work on a JDM - pedal sensors from ZMANALEX - I spoke to Mark@ Abbey and he said the ECU needs reflashing so it will recognise the cruise control - Maybe its a bit of gamble but the guys in the US seem convinced it will work - it won't work on a UK CC
  8. MIght get this done - still have the bits to retro fit the cruise control onto my JDM - been on the to do list for ages
  9. We always run a league at work for Euros/World Cup but this year decided to move away from steam driven excel and use an app resulting in a huge drop in numbers - so much for technology .......... Anyhow if any Zedders fancy joining hit the below link - Its free to play and we could use the numbers ! 1. Download the iTeam Fantasy Football App or search for 'iTeam Fantasy Football' in your phone's application store. 2. Set up your account for free and use your £75m to pick a team in the Euro 2016 tournament. 3. Join the Swire Shipping Euros 2016 mini league. 4. Invite your colleagues to make things more interesting 5. Make unlimited transfers until the opening match of the tournament kicks off as they are bound to be squad changes due to injuries The rules are simple! 35]1. Pick the best iTeam based on your football knowledge, then score as many points as possible over the course of the seven-round tournament. 35]2. The most important aspect of the Fantasy iTeam game is the transfer system – it is both unique and highly rewarding, enabling you to make changes to your iTeam in between fixtures. 35]3. It is going to be a long tournament, so you will need to rotate your squad! 35]4. Once the players are available to view, simply pick your 11 players, but don’t worry about making final choices just yet because you will have unlimited free transfers until the tournament starts. 35]5. This gives you the time to pick your team that will take you to Euro 2016 glory. PIN number for the league is 7974
  10. Black Zunsport grill on that would look awesome
  11. My main car is a Honda Civic and I would have no interest at all about joining a Honda owners club - its a tool for my occupation as far as I am concerned. Proud Zed owner since 2014 and this forum is the mutts nuts
  12. Arguably the most recognised sportsman of the last century. If you are a 70's kid like me that grew up with wresting on a Saturday afternoon at 4pm on World of Sport with Dickie Davis then Ali ( a boxer I know!) was a significant part of my childhood TV memories. My Dad didn't often comment on sporting matters but use to call him Motormouth. He was iconic and I had a Ali glove puppet with a trigger grip that would punch out - Terrorised my brother all through Christmas and Winter in 1975 with it and the cat! The years weren't kind, Parkinson's Disease robbed the world of a mind and wit that was faster then his speed in the ring. I feel privileged to remember watching the Michael Parkinson's interviews live on the Beeb. One of sports eternal.
  13. drop Zunsport a mail - they are pretty good but I found the ones they supplied a tadge too small so had a dig through the tool box and found some that worked fine
  14. 2 strips done - Very best of luck for the event and the weather
  15. Fit should be OK but there is no clock (time) on the JDM trip computer so you may lose that - you may also need a JDM heater brain as well - I went the other way JDM >>UK - had pop in a UK one for UK dials to work correctly - ie the clock
  16. Dibs on mods ! Noooooo cant afford to lose a Norfolk Zedder!
  17. my got tuck at the bottom and battering the door card normally gets it working long enough to fully close - so thats carbon bushes in my book
  18. same issue on mine - been on the to do list for 2 years
  19. With an overseas move happening before too long - have got one of these so I can watch UK telly like BBC iplayer - anyone use them ?. I know I could set up a VPN but this was recommended to me
  20. wonder if the curse of mobile phone strikes again ? Plod will no doubt be checking. Well done for assisting the cyclist, used to to a lot of road miles myself but just got to dangerous. Some drivers really do get sick pleasure seeing how close they can get to you.
  21. thats one expensive snake !
  22. I have good results with Megs metal polish with DA polisher
  23. This works with my Fairlady no problems at all on BT
  24. I have just taken mine off and put the stock one back on just for a change and its feels a lot better but doesnt look as good so will probably keep it in the glove box for shows
