I think they stopped making the MIshimoto cooling plate. Ordered it a few times did the payment then they came back as out of stock and refunded. Called them said no more plates......ever.

Had 2 similar issues 1. Loose baffle in the exhaust box - unlikely in this case bit worth a check 2. Handbrake cable was catching the heat shield - cured by popping a cable tie on. More likely Don't you just love cable ties ?

I'll be heading direct to the Event as its pretty much due South from me so Norwich is a bit of a detour and can't see an easy place to meet unless we are on top of the place so can wait at the gate so to speak . My forms are already in and have had a confirmation reply

Yep that hairy stuff you get in Tandoori restaurants ! My paintwork was pretty crap but after a good clean now looking presentable might just be time encrusted grime ?

I had a similar issue was the camshaft sensor - car was in limp mode though see if you can get a PID code reading ?

Any mods you do to the intake are if anything going to reduce the torque of the car although may get a better sound. Any noticeable performance gains would probably need a remap to gain the full benefit. Mark @ Abbey say best intake option for power is the stock intake not modded with an upgraded panel filter. I have a Stillen on mine mainly as it does sound good and looks better in the bay.

Sent the covers to Aquagraphix - They were dipped gloss black and the lettering painted in then the whole lot lacquered - they look a lot better in the flesh. Straw poll so far is do the same to the engine cover and keep it relativley toned down but uniform so given me a bit to think about

It's red just not a good shot. It's a Samco air intake hose. Just google that and should see you right. They do a few colours
