Earlier this year my rear Nissan discs were changed for a set of DBA's and these were paired with Ferodo DS2500 Racing pads, I really didn't get on with these as they left unusually heavy deposits of rusty brown coloured dust on the wheels, I don't have any pictures but Chris S & Ebized agreed it was unusual when we did the Wales Recce earlier this year.
Anyway, as I don't track the car I decided to swap them for EBC red stuff pads, these were part worn and had been on the car with the original Nissan discs. Since these have been on the dust problem has gone but I have noticed that there are two areas of the disc that don't appear to be in contact with the pads. I'm pretty sure these weren't unevenly worn though. I don't have any issues with the front DBA's, these are Ferodo pads but not the DS2500 racing pads.
Are EBC red stuffs a different size or is there something more serious going on?
Would Ferodo FDS1562 be a better solution?
Thanks for your help guys
