    Upgraded HID's

Cheers Buddy, going to get the recommended bits ordered. I dont venture out in the dark too much with her, but have to agree the OEM lights are a bit pants...... dont know what Nissan were doing there.
  2. My wife is selling her MX5 as she is about to purchase a newer one. Here are the details of the current one that is for sale: NOW SOLD - Admins please lock Just picked up a 2012 2.0 Sport Tech 2002 Mazda MX-5 S-VT Sport 1.8i (revision 2.5) 146 BHP MOT - May 25th 2016 COLOUR - Crystal Blue MILEAGE 59,285 (this will increase as she uses it for work and shopping) Bilstein Sport Suspension Bigger Brakes Variable Valve Timing ABS Power Assisted Steering Strut Brace K&N Typhoon Air filter Brushed silver dash trim Genuine Mazda Headunit Electric Aerial Chrome MX5 Sill Covers Immaculate interior High Back Black leather heated seats Electric Windows Electric Mirrors Front fog lights. Heated GLASS rear window Soft top in A1 condition. (Vinyl) 6 speed gearbox 16" alloys LSD New Magnecore ignition leads New spark plugs Windbreaker Chrome Headrest / Roll bars Usual stone chips which is to be expected on a 2002 motor, but nothing dramatic and nothing that could not be touched in with a bit of time and patience. Wheels could do with full refurb Interior really is in A1 condition, slight wear to drivers bolster. Seats are superb and comfortable, heating elements work perfectly and are a joy in the cold weather. All electrics work exactly as they should. No leaks to interior, roof is in superb condition, all waterways have recently been serviced to ensure water drains as it should. The Bad Bit ...... and every car has them: Car was purchased as a CAT C repaired and verified by VOSA. We actually saw the pictures of the damage to the vehicle, was was being driving by the young lad who owned it. Damage consisted of: Front Bumper (no damage to impact bar) Drivers Wing Drivers Headlight Drivers Fog light Airbags were NOT deployed, thats how low the impact was, but insurance companies being as they are, decided the cost of repairs (By Mazda) was more than the car was worth. All damage was repaired using genuine Mazda parts. All panel gaps are as they should be, the chassis was not damaged and thus the car drives as straight as a die The car is a lovely machine and drives really nice, engine just purrs, no rattles or nasty surprises. Very happy to take a full video for any potential buyer. There was not service history with the car, although the previous owner was an enthusiast and worked in a garage and did the servicing themselves. In addition the car has been serviced in the last 6months using quality products. Ideal weekend project car for someone, for not a lot of money. Asking price of £1500 ovno We are located in the North East - within 5 mins of the A1M / A66 / A19 and 5mins from nearest train station Happy to answer any question or provide additional photos/Video

    Upgraded HID's

Any sort of fitting guide ? just added those to my basket and will order later today Thanks
  4. Not exactly your requirements, but I am running the same wheels as you, on Eibach springs, gives a really good drop, and I have not rubbing, was all a straight fit.
  5. Si (Hide n seat) took my 350 knee pads off and put them back on after recovering them. May be worth dropping him a line as he knows what they look like and may be able to come up with some thing for the A5
  6. Yep Gordon is the man........ Got my amp from him, all customised and with some superb tweaks..... Always go to him for anything Amp related, also sells some dam good products cheaper than elsewhere. Always keen to offer advice and his knowledge about Audio is second to none.
  7. For the sofware side you wont go wrong with "YawCam", its free and with a couple of clicks of a button you will be up and running immediately. You can then access the streamed video on any device simply by inputting the relevant IP address, I have been using YawCam for years for various little jobs and its never let me down. Works with most webcams and IP Cams.
  8. I see you have one of my fan kits on the MR2 Still miss my MR2, but love the zed more
  9. we always use Falcon Performance at Middlesbrough. Always do a fantastic job, recently fitted my spoiler, sprayed it and the bumper and its a first class job. I believe most of the local use them because of their high standards. Not the cheapest, but well worth the trip to get it done. Lee one of the brothers is on here...... Give R35lee a shout
  10. Had them in my MR2 hooked up to a Hertz amp and they sounded awesome, really liked them.
  11. Got one on mine and love it. Sport mode is the equivalent of a hair trigger on a rifle....... little bit of throttle and off like a bullet. Likewise for motorway cruising stick it on Eco mode, and you have to push the throttle a lot further to get response.
  12. Talking about crafty, now about A1M North Yorkshire..... Silver unmarked Octavia VRS. Tow hitch on and had one of those yellow triangles in the back window with "Baby On Board"....... talk about entrapment!!!!
  13. Thanks for the comments guys. Took a run to work in her this morning and all seemed fine, no lights and nothing untoward. So fingers crossed just a little glitch
  14. Codes cleared ..... and will see what happens. Might have just been the MOT place playing around with it...... but that dam little light does cause so much panic........ thanks for the advice guys
  15. Just plugged the Delphi Diags in and its reporting: P0171 System Too Lean (Bank 1) Any ideas. Bear in mind its just been through MOT. Never had any fault codes previously. Options I guess are to clear it and see if it comes back, but wont do anything until the masters report back Should add that I have Berk HFC's
  16. Yep gonna go stick the diagnostics on and see what it comes up with...... Bloody typical.... perfect all this time.....:-( will post up codes shortly
  17. Just taken the car for mot (passed with flying colour) but engine management light is on. Not flashing or anything like that, just static. Turned off then back on a few times and still there. This the the yellow engine light in the lower left. Any advice before I go dig the dianostics kit out and see what the heck is going on ? Thanks
  18. Mark can you drop me a pm with cost and deal on these throttle bodies please.
  19. Hi Nigel, Sorry I wasnt ignoring you, just been mad busy at work, and I spend half my life on the road........and not in the zed !!! Yes still have the phone. Yes still sealed in the orginal packing and box as it arrived from the Apple Store Yes still under warranty Yes unlocked to ALL network - always are when you buy them "Sim free" from Apple. Just to confirm: Its the 8Gb Model Its in White and its ready to go
  20. i had exactly the same issue as you......and so has a few others. I even sent mine back for testing. You have to double check the plugs by the accelerator and ensure they clip in the right way and all the way home. If you do a search there are threads about this. Mine was ok once I made sure the plugs were fully home. Dont give up
  21. NOW SOLD Mods could you lock this please Thaks
  22. NOW SOLD I have for sale my fully modified 350Z Steering wheel. This was done by Jack from "Royal Steering Wheels", and if you have been through the forum you will have seen how highly everyone rates his work on the steering wheel. This was modified with the following specification: Girth increased by 2mm Standard leather at the top and the bottom Perforated leather left and right Alezan Stitching As like all his other wheels done for the forum, its a top class job and the extra 2mm girth makes the wheel feel far more comfortable. The reason this has now been removed, is because I have had an interior retrim done in black and red, and have had another steering wheel completed the same way but with red stitching, so the Alezan one is surplus to requirements and just trying to recover some costs on the steering wheel. It had been on the car for less than 300 miles, so literally is brand new, with no marks on it. Please note that the Audio Controls and Blanking piece will not be supplied. These will come off your own wheel. The wheel will fit ALL models of 350Z and is a very simple process to remove. Fitting guide from the forum can be found HERE For the buyer, I will also throw in a brand new gear gaiter, done in soft black leather with Alezan stitching. This has never been fitted: Looking for £110 including courier delivery (Tracked). This is a saving of around £25+, plus you don't have to send your old steering wheel back to Jack, these fetch £50 - £60 on eBay. Payment: I prefer direct bank transfer. Will do paypal but it will either need to be as a "Friend Payment" or add 4.50% to cover the transaction fees. Any questions, just drop me a PM. Happy to help fit if you are in the Darlington area Thanks for looking
