  1. I got nabbed by North Yorkshire and did their awareness course.... Yes it was the A19. Did the course at Scotch Corner hotel. At the start of the course we were told that we did NOT have to report the fact that we were doing this course, as such we had not commited an offence, but merly undertaking some education. In fact the RoSPA woman who took the course, felt so strong about the "Insurance company" thing, that she was happy to give out her number to back up anyone who got panalised by their insurance company. To this day, I have never been asked by any of my 3 insurance companies if I had been on one of these courses, Admiral is not one of them, as such, it never affected my insurance.
  2. Once you have them up to a decent standard, I would give them a good couple of coats with Gtechniq M1 all metal polish, brings a superb brilliance to polished metal, then I just seal with a couple of coats of "Finnish Kare 1000p"
  3. Most definately..... Wouldnt be without one now, difference is night and day ..... Major grin factor in sport mode :teeth: :teeth:
  4. So surprised these have not been snapped up, on the 350 they totally transform it, and the bonus is having the genuine lug nuts..... which are normally either a nightmare to get hold of, or cost you an arm and a leg.
  5. Totally True. My wife's pristine Toyota Carina E got rear ended by "Night Freight". By the time I found out what was going on, the other parties insurance company had it recovered to a scrappy..... they had removed the VIN plate and informed me it was written off. Stuck my heals in, threw the toys out of the pram and told them they had 24hrs to get that car to my front door before I brought the police in for theft. Car was duly returned, we then instructed a loss recovery agent..... ended up costing the other side near 8k. LRA had a brand new motor pulled from a show room in Manchester and delivered to us by 7am the next day.......that was the Courtesy car. 6 weeks of repairs at Lexus, and they were delivering the car back to us, when the driver reversed off the side of the low loader, causing another 3k of damage....... and thats another story. so dont let them ride rough shot over you, its your car.
  6. Spatt...... Please dont take this the wrong way as being pushy. We have it advertised on the Gumtree site, and I have had a guy texting me who wants to come down tonight to look at it. I have put him off till tomorrow night, as its not a good time for me. I just dont want you to go through all this, only to find out its sold. Ultimately would prefer it if it went to one of the members, and I dont like "Joe Bloggs" just turning up at the house!!!
  7. He should be able to take out the single din converter bringing it back to standard. I can supply you with the double din bezel for the 350 no problem, I have a couple laying around.

  11. Cheers GMBallistic.............. Yes she is doing ok.....back to giving me grief RussyB - straight forward fit to the 350. I can also through in a 350 bezel as I have a few spare. If you want to keep the steering wheel controls then you will need the additional Autoleads connectors, which I think run out at about £25 for the kit. This will enable you to run it with the steering wheel controls the same as the Bose. Sure if I am wrong, Buster will tell us, he is the "Radio Expert"

  17. Found it..... Anyone know anything about the below Zed.....
  18. My son who is down in the south west has just called me about a blue 350z for sale in the Paignton, Devon. He caught a glimpse of it on Facebook and now cannot find it. He remembers it was a Blue Nismo kitted, thinks it had possibly them vortex things on the roof. Does anyone know this zed? Thanks all, and a Happy New Year to everyone
  19. MeisterR for me evey time. Had them on the MR2 which originally had springs and had issues with it being too low, then went to Tein coilovers which were great for track but no good for UK Roads. I then got introduced to MeisterR just after they developed new coilovers for the MR2. From that point on I never looked back. Ride was better than OEM, yet I could raise or lower as much as I wanted due to the double perch. This meant that raising or lowering did not affect the ride. Definitely worth having a word with Jerrick from MeisterR. Cannot comment on other coilovers as I have never used them........ Sure Adrian could come up with a comparable kit as well.
  20. Thanks for the comments guys, really is a lovely looking car, but cannot keep anymore :-) already 4 cars between 2 of us!!!!!. Nissanman312 - Car is located in Darlington, Co Durham. 5min from A1M and 8 mins from Darlington Train Station.
  21. I had one of the first sets for the MR2 Turbo after Jerrick developed them, and at first was very dubious having had other Coilovers previously and hated the ride. I followed Jerricks recommendation regarding spring rates, etc. and was amazed how good the ride was with the MeisterR's. I would say the ride was better than OEM, with the added benefit of being able to drop the height without affecting the quality of ride. I shall certainly be talking to Jerrick in the near future when I am ready to upgrade the 350. If the ride quality on the 350 is as good as they were on the MR2, then I will be one happy chap.
