As I read your thread I did wonder if it might have been an attempt by some arseole to break into the car - doesn't make any differencee to the pain you are feeling but just mention that in case they come back at some point for a second go and whether it is a parking area you can avoid. Yeh im thinking that also but I leave no valuables on display. Even if they did smash the window and got in they would be pretty stuck to steal the car.. its not as simple as breaking the steering lock and getting the ignition barrel and turning it from behind. My stupid immobiliser needs a key code. But im still surprised my car alarms sensitivity is so crap.. With the impact of a brick it should have went off. Think i need to invest in a new system. I really do hope it was a random drunk and not a targeted act. But even still its just crazy what goes through these mindless yobs heads.

Oh nice one il try with the techniq stuff first but if it is deeper will probably need some of your stuff.. but im thinking lots of people here have some decent advice on what can be done.. I really dont understand why autoglass say it cant be done..or are they just fishing for me to spend on a new window... if thats the case its really sad.

Thanks man I think im going to try the techniq cleaner first to see what i have to work with.. then prob use the repair kit on whats left... then if that doesnt do it il try the buffing machine... if by that time if messed it up totally then il see if zed window will fit... then if not il have to look for my actual window =( so gutted though got a tax rebate and was looking to get an exhaust or an uprev or something substancial done. Stupid drunken student idiots grrr!

Ahh thats the stuff the harlfords guy had for me. I just did a little reading.. http://www.detailing...php/t-5317.html Does the GTechniq G4 need to use a buffer? Im not too confident with these things especially since the guys on the link were saying i could distort the glass?! or something no buffer required, just severe elbow grease, and plenty of it. If by the time you've finished your arms not falling off and haven't broken a sweat then you haven't worked hard enough Its not even that expensive.. is the nano one the right one? http://gtechniq.com/...ss-nano-polish/ I want to give it a try... the thing is my window comes with a factory tint which i havent seen on or noticed on the zeds.. if i could just polish out the white powdery marks id be happy for a while plus i seen a miltek exhaust up for sale for good price!! Thats the one. Most windows are tinted on the inside so you may be ok, id rather not say if will be fine as i can't be sure. I can't see the tint being on the outside of the glass though. where are you based, i have some of the glass polish left over from when i did mine. im in cardiff but its ok... i reckon i wont stop till iv killed the whole bottle lol
